Antigravity and the Ultimate Spacecraft Propulsion System

There is considerable confusion with the concept of antigravity and its related subjects. If we imagine a magnet arrangement with one magnet located stably above another, 'like' poles together, we have repulsion and a magnet suspended in space. Visually it resembles a form of antigravity but of course it is no more antigravity than is rocket propulsion.

In this example not only are we not reversing gravity or counteracting it directly but we are only acting on surfaces (or more strictly, acting with a 2D-to-3D interface), with Newtonian forces. The phenomenon of antigravity, or gravity, does not function on Newtonian forces (as covered in other web-site articles).

Let us make a comparison between 1) the above magnetic or electromagnetic field (magnetic field created by electricity) example, and 2) true antigravity. Consider the upper magnet, in the above example, held above the lower magnet by means of strings secured in a horizontal manner so that the magnet can move vertically. Like poles are facing.

Now let us raise the upper magnet and then release it. Initially it will fall as a result of the gravitational force being greater than the repulsion between the magnets. The upper magnet will fall past the balance point owing to its momentum, mass times velocity, and continue until the repulsive force is greater than the gravitational force plus the diminishing momentum. Now, while stationary, with no momentum (no velocity) the repulsion is greater than the gravitational effect and it will move upwards. Again it moves beyond the balance point due to momentum, etc. It will thus oscillate with diminishing amplitude until it settles stationary in the balance point.

If we now consider a similar set up but have an antigravitational field instead of a magnetic field, what would happen when we raise the upper mass and let it go? We can consider that the antigravity field has a source below the suspended object and the field diminishes with distance from the source appropriately.

When we release the mass it falls since the gravitational effect on the mass is greater than the antigravitational field at this point. What happens when the mass reaches the balance point? It stops abruptly. Why?--because there is no inertia, no momentum , even though the object had velocity. A gravitational and antigravitational field act 4D to 3D and penetrate totally any mass. There is no momentum since the antigravitational field and the gravitational field act instantaneously on all atoms and their nuclei. At the balance point, the upward thrust on the object from the antigravity is equal to the downward thrust of gravity. Now this also means of course that an object, in general, falling under gravity, is not manifesting inertia even though it is accelerating--there is no gravitational force until the motion is arrested by a surface, creating a Newtonian force. A falling body is locked on to the flow; it is not pushing its way through spacetime with inertia and Newtonian forces. There is a complete failure to grasp this difference (see other web-site articles).

Now since antimatter would of course relate to antigravity, let us comment on the antimatter that is speculated to exist in the universe, which if it came into contact with our matter could annihilate both with the release of considerable energy. What form would this antimatter take? Could it be that the electron's (negative) charge is reversed in polarity along with the reversal of its antiparticle, the positron? This type of reversal wouldn't of course make any difference--the electron becomes the positron and vice versa.

But what about atoms? Would antimatter have positive particles revolving around a negative nucleus (the opposite of our atoms). No, this still wouldn't work--the design of the atom would have to be completely changed and it wouldn't then respond to our atoms as an opposite to cause complete annihilation, since this is the test of the true opposite.

The positively charged nucleus at the centre of the atom is a white hole, which means energy is coming into our 3rd dimension, whereas electrons have properties similar to black holes--energy spiralling inwards into their centres and out of the 3rd dimension. If they were reversed, the atom wouldn't be stable. However, we did say 'antimatter that is speculated to exist in the universe'. Thus this is a dead end for our antigravitational search in this direction.

Let us now present three widely different principles of realistic antigravity in increasing order of sophistication and effectiveness, and follow this with three respective examples:

1) an atomic antimatter reactor,
2) subatomic particle/field system, and
3) one operating on wave motion.

The third system that we shall describe satisfies the condition for the ultimate spacecraft propulsion method and is one which utilises the principle of attunement or resonance with the gravitational oscillation of the planet or any cosmic body. This method is 4th-to-3rd dimensional and involves wave motion.

The second system is also a genuine antigravity method which utilises control over gravitational nodes, which means the gravitational field (see web-site articles on superspace and gravity). This method operates more with 3rd-dimensional components.

The first one we shall present harnesses the white-hole repulsive properties of the centre of atoms. Let us now give three appropriate examples utilising these principles, starting with the latter, the antimatter reactor. For this example, any of the inert gases would be more effective than other elements. The inert gas does not react chemically with any other element. It has a stable structure of completed electron shells due to a powerful nodal force within the nucleus.

If we subject the inert gas to high pressure and temperature we can strip away the (negative) electrons surrounding the positively charged nucleus. The atoms thus become highly ionised.

If we now apply a powerful magnetic field, the nucleus of the inert atoms, consisting of protons and neutrons, is disturbed. Remember the fractal principle we have discussed in other articles in which true wholeness exists in its own right at different natural entity levels of the universe, for example, a planet, solar system, or an atom, or even its nucleus. Thus by disturbing or even removing any protons or neutrons does not remove the inner white-hole property of the nucleus. Under these conditions these centres or nodes of atoms are exposed--powerful energy is coming into our 3D. This is quite compatible with quantum physics that tells us everything is under continuous creation--this creative energy is coming into our reality to create it, through natural entities, such as atoms. This is also the source of the power of the atomic bomb--a neutron splits the nucleus, exposing the nodes of the fissile material releasing huge quantities of 'white-hole' energy. However, the magnetic field does not disturb the nucleus of the inert gases to create this dangerous mode.

This outflow of energy from the central nodes of these exposed atomic nuclei would push against any matter giving rise to repulsion. Thus this is a potential method for creating a localised antigravitational field. This system has apparently been achieved secretly, and since we haven't heard about it publicly we can only assume it is the work of the secret government. But they have more advanced systems than this now.

Let us now describe the second method which operates at the subatomic particle level, but whereas the previous system creates an antigravitational field, this one manipulates Earth's powerful gravitational field--or any other such field in the cosmos.

This system has also been achieved by Earthman using electromagnetic principles. The most notable pioneers in this field have been John Searle and Otis Carr. Searle built many levity discs, some 10 feet or more in diameter. His system was said to be based on an armature of two counter-rotating discs at the perimeter of which were a series of stator electromagnets. The centre was positively charged and the perimeter negatively charged. Many of his discs, rising powerfully and vertically, could wrench out clumps of grass from the ground--similar to some observed UFOs--and were lost in space.

He eventually succeeded in controlling them with radio frequencies. He also had a similar generator providing free electricity to his home in the village of Mortimer, England, until he was subject to a destructive raid by law enforcement officers who confiscated his generator.

Otis Carr and company in the U.S had a similar experience and had actually built a full-sized spacecraft (photographs were available). The government confiscated it and threatened the company members with imprisonment if they continued with their research.

Both these inventors were apparently creating a form of antigravity, which we can speculate fairly positively was of the type in which a vortex of gravitational nodes was formed. If one envisages a doughnut-shaped energy configuration encompassing the disc, which is a scalar field, for a particular rotation, gravitational nodes descending vertically under the force of gravity would be swept around the disc and then underneath and upwards and round again, delineating and penetrating the vortex region or toroid shape. With the same principle as the twister and tornado, which can lift a vehicle, the gravitational nodes coming up under the disc and resonating with the nodes of atomic structure of the disc, would drag the levity disc upwards. Thus in this example gravity is reversed. The spacecraft 'falls' up.

The educated will say this is a 'bootstrap' mechanism (one can't lift oneself up by one's bootstraps because of the equality of action and reaction--Newton's laws). However, gravitational-type fields do not obey Newton's laws (see other web-site articles).

This is a method then which utilises gravitational nodes that normally drag a body down to the surface of, for example, Earth, producing the gravitational force when the body's motion is arrested. In this case, the nodes are manipulated to move upwards, dragging the fixed nodes within the structure of the craft, by resonance, upwards. By adjusting the direction and shape of the vortex field the craft has complete maneuverability.

Now we come to the third example and ultimate propulsion system which does not interfere with nature directly. The bodies of ET spacecrafts have been referred to as made of crystalline or ceramic material. Some of these advanced designs are apparently created in space using the psychokinetic powers of several minds.

The most important special property of this material is that the frequencies of the atoms can be easily entrained, that is, brought into coherence. A form of scalar or quantum-wave generator, which produces a frequency spectrum covering the frequencies of cosmic bodies, such as the Earth or Sun, will be required to create the initial conditions (on a much more advanced level, minds would do it and no controls would be required). The oscillations emanating from the generator will be vortexual, encompassing the body of the ship. By means of mode-locking, the atomic oscillations of the craft's body will begin to match those of the generator frequencies until all atomic frequencies of the ship are in phase (this would also include the interior of the craft and occupants).

[As we have described in other articles, whenever the frequencies of parts (in this case, the atoms) are put into phase, a collective whole is quantum regenerated. That is, a whole single quantum-state oscillation is created from what we might call a virtual-state matrix, which has a higher frequency (it is more than the sum of the atomic frequencies).]

Thus the spacecraft is now creating a single high-frequency oscillation encompassing the whole ship with all atomic frequencies within the ship in step. The energy vortex of this oscillating entity is similar to that of a planet, Sun, or any cosmic body, such as, to take the extremes, a galaxy or universe, but these possess immensely high frequencies of which the craft may not be capable.

The spacecraft interacting with a cosmic body is a little like two electromagnets run by AC. If two such magnets are positioned each within the field of the other and the frequencies are such that like poles are in step there will be repulsion between the poles (as with two north poles or two south poles of a permanent magnet).

However, it is not as simple as this. The oscillations of the fields of the spacecraft and cosmic body are not only manifesting electromagnetic energies, but scalar/quantum frequencies, which are higher-dimensional. We have a 4D-to-3D interaction, and a more advanced spacecraft will utilize the higher-order regions of the spectrum. What does this mean? It means the relationship between the poles of the spacecraft and, say, a planet is 4th dimensional, which we must imagine as interacting mainly internally, not externally.

To illustrate this, envisage the ship within the solar system and interacting with the Sun's oscillations--which strictly embrace the whole space of the solar system. Then the spacecraft's oscillations are inside the solar system's oscillations. This means that interacting waves will operate on resonance, predominantly. If the craft attunes its positive wave to the positive wave of the Sun, they will not repel since one is inside the other. They attract, go into resonance and will lock on in a manner to pull the ship towards maximum intensity at the Sun's physical location.

At high efficiency this will not only be very powerful but free from inertia. In fact the craft will not be pushed (as one does with Newtonian forces) toward the Sun but will simply be wherever the Sun's wave is at any moment. There is harmony between the two oscillating systems and it is not appropriate to talk of mass, inertia, force or even kinetic or potential energy! There is, of course, acceleration without force (violation of Newton's second law). When a body acts holistically with its environment and the environment creates motion of the body, there is no inertia to consider.

The spacecraft can thus move towards or away from a planet or star by controlling phase angles of its frequencies relative to the frequencies of the planet or sun. However, when the frequencies are either completely in phase ('attraction') or 180 degrees out of phase ('repulsion'), the velocity will be very great owing to the extremely high frequencies of the planet (this has nothing to do with the Schuman resonance) and even greater for our Sun. One can estimate theoretically that this speed will be greater than the velocity of light and by many times for interaction with the Sun. Before we explain how the craft attains intermediate speeds and also how it moves laterally, let us anticipate the relativity objection to the speed being greater than that of light.

If the reader still wishes to remain faithful to the special theory of relativity, which has been telling us that no object can go faster or as fast as light (except the theoretical and never-found tachyons that only exist beyond the speed of light), we should indicate that the special theory gives a good representation of the illusions of the 3rd dimension. Nevertheless, physicists overlook the fact that there is within the theory a 'contingency' for faster than light travel (and not meaning tachyons). The observed body, which is approaching the velocity of light (and therefore contracting along its forward dimension into invisibility at the speed of light), from its point of view, time slows down and at the velocity of light, time has stopped. But just as the body has contracted from the outside-observer viewpoint, from the viewpoint of the body, the environment has contracted, and thus at the speed of light (as measured by the observer) there is no distance (from the viewpoint of the body). Or, near to light velocity (as measured by the observer), distance is much reduced and the object can be travelling faster than light velocity from its point of view; and at infinite velocity at this observed velocity of light. One might see that one is playing around with illusions even though they are real (illusion means assigning wrong causes, and exhibiting apparencies).

Now let us briefly explain how the ship's speed is controlled. This is achieved by adjustment of the phase angle between the craft's oscillations and the Sun's. This is like drawing the sine waves for each of the oscillations, craft and Sun and superimposing them. If they are perfectly superimposed then one has maximum attraction. However, if they are displaced anywhere from 0 to 180 degrees, one wave will counteract the other to different degrees throughout the range, full attraction to full repulsion. Thus by means of the resultant of the two waves any value of velocity can be determined. Note that enormous accuracy is required in these settings, which would be achieved by utilising the accurate oscillations of crystals (similar to the use of crystals in our computers).

Now to maneuver the craft along the surface of the planet or cosmic body, in addition to tilting the craft appropriately with some possible directional manipulation of the vortex, the craft can fly along ley lines, that is, grid vortices. Just as two pebbles dropped in a pond create ripples which interfere to produce a grid pattern of oscillating regions (and cancelled regions) all natural entities, Sun, planet, atom, etc. have interference patterns around them. Where there is an interception point in which two waves reinforce one another, a black-hole/white-hole oscillation occurs, that is, a 4D-to-3D vortex acting perpendicular to our 3D plane.

Just as the spacecraft can utilize the cosmic bodies described above, it can similarly attract and repel from these strings of vortex locations which form the grid network of, say, a planet (in the case of an atom it forms the electron structure). There isn't the space in this article to cover interdimensional travel, which is achieved by matching frequencies to a desired destination; all locations have different frequency patterns.

We have briefly described three methods which considerable research indicates are in use either here on planet Earth or elsewhere in the cosmos. As a final point one may consider that the antimatter reactor would only repel against mass a short distance. But recognizing that one pole, the white-hole of the nodes, is inside the other pole, which is the gravitational field (compare the 3rd method described above), also that all energy is oscillating or cyclic, then the positive aspect (outgoing) of the antimatter reactor will repel against the negative (ingoing) gravitational flow continuously as it pushes against the gravitational field, seeking the minimum gravitational intensity.

Another query with this system, might be that the reactor located under the craft is a chamber and the wall nearest to Earth will be affected by the repulsive force. Not really. Imagine an asteroid inside a large container a few feet off the Earth's surface, the container's mass will 'merge' with the mass of the asteroid, and the force of each mass--planet and asteroid--will act on the container.

As a final point, the third system follows universal principles and is another demonstration of the application of the ubiquitous components of nature's computer system.

Tampere University in Finland

Experiments in 1992 in Finland seemed to show that the Earth's gravity could be shielded with a superconductor configured in a certain manner. This experiment, by Eugene Podkletnov, at Finland's Tampere University of Technology, apparently created a reduction in the weight of objects placed above a levitating, rotating superconducting disk:

Tom E. Bearden

Tom Bearden has said that he along with Mr. Sparky Sweet have produced 'antigravity' from a lab-bench test set-up. The power-to-weight-ratio was said to be approximately 500 watts of electrical power per pound of lift at 100 Hertz.

AntiGravity Evidence from Cosmology

An international collaboration of top-ranked cosmologists, called the High-z Supernova Search Team, made a surprising announcement in the journal Science this past February (Science, Feb 27, 1998, pages 1298-1299).

The scientists reported that empty space may well be filled with a repulsive force of as yet unknown origins. In support of this antigravity theory, the group cites data on supernovae. The researchers maintain that the seeming brightness of these distant, exploding stars suggests that the universe is expanding at an ever increasing rate--an acceleration that the standard big bang model could not account for were there no antigravity.

Dr. Marcel Pages

In 1959, Dr. Marcel Pages proposed a theory at the International Congress of Satellites and Missiles, wherein gravity is not caused by the attraction of the Earth, but is caused by the repulsion of the Cosmos. Accordingly, the force which we call gravitation, he called 'sheer concentrated protonic energy'.

He supported his theory with a design of an antigravity machine which liberated itself from the force of gravity by an electric field rotating at the speed of light around the vehicle. This rotating field also suppressed mass inertia!

His design principle was tested successfully on small pieces of mica.

Liquid Mercury Mass Effect

An experiment was preformed by Dr. Majorana in which he surrounded a measured mass with a sphere containing ten tons of liquid mercury. He noted an apparent loss in weight of the experimental mass and concluded that the loss was due to an absorbtion of gravity waves by the dense mercury.

Oscillating Liquid Mercury Effect

Another experiment involving liquid mercury entailed a test set-up wherein two weights were balanced on an extremely accurate scale balance. Underneath one of the weights, a quantity of liquid mercury was caused to oscillate by a high-powered high-capacity pump. With the pump in operation, the balance indicated a minute loss in weight of the mass located above the oscillating liquid mercury. However, the ratio of input energy (via the pump) to weight loss was found to be impractically large to be able to develop any useable antigravity mechanism.

COMMENT: Possibly a combination of electrical energy and liquid mercury could induce useable effects on gravity ? CNC

Foucault Pendulum Abnormalities

The Foucault pendulum exhibits an effect such that the plane of the pendulum swing does not change. The apparent rotation of the plane of the pendulum is actually caused by the rotation of the Earth beneath the pendulum. Therefore the pendulum arc should show an apparent rotation of one cycle every 24 hours.

Dr. Maurice Allias conducted some remarkable experiments with some pendulums several years ago, during which a cycle was found which was between 24 and 25 hours long. Allias's experiments were performed with a very high degree of accuracy with continuous readings of about a month, and in two widely separated locations.

Also, during a total solar eclipse, the plane of the pendulum swing was noted to shift approximately 15 centesimal degrees exactly at the start of the eclipse. Near the end of the eclipse, the plane again shifted and returned to the normal periodic cycle it had been following previous to the eclipse. This gives a very definite impression of a screen effect.(CNC)

Astronaut Edward White Gemini Space Excursion

During Astronaut Edward White's extravehicular excursion while in orbit with the early-days Gemini capsule, he noted a physical phenomena which was unexplainable by Newtonian mechanics. He was able to rotate his body by extending and retracting his arms in a twisting motion. Newtonian mechanics says that the body should return to its original position once all motion has ceased, due to Newton's Law of Conservation-of-Motion.

If angular momentum is not conserved, then a device can be built around this anomalous principle to give a linear thrust for use as a propulsion system. In fact, more than one device using this principle have been constructed over the last several years. One is known as the Dean Space Drive whose mechanism uses a counterbalanced set of rotating eccentric weights. The axels of the weights are moved linearly by a solenoid during each rotation. Resultant thrust is produced in the same direction that the weights are moved. The weights are essentially made to change orbit, giving up momentum in each cycle to produce thrust.

Two other devices that have been built and patented apparently utilizing the same principle, are the Cook Drive and the Kidd Drive. These three drives are not truly 'antigravity' drives, but are certainly excellent candidates for advanced aerospace propulsion systems - a giant leap up from the current Neanderthal-level 'Roman-Candle' technology !

Volcanic Effect on Gravity

About 10 years ago, a man was caught too close to a sudden outburst of volcanic activity on the island of Hawaii. He was escaping in his car down the volcanic mountain when the car blew a tire. He had to stop to change the tire so he could continue his fast escape. When he opened his car trunk to get his spare tire, his tire iron "Floated" out of the trunk !!! He was able to grab his tire iron, change the blown tire, and make good his escape.

COMMENT: This sounds like a demonstration of a moving-mass/ gravity shield connection with some sort of temperature factor. CNC

Dynamic and Radiation Field Effects by Gravitation

One phenomena which may be noted as a common denominator throughout these experiments, is the apparent existence and utilization of a 'gravitational field' or 'matter field'.

This field is akin to an electromagnetic field, but so far has been shown to be associated predominately with matter. There are apparently two definable parts to this matter field, a close-up 'dynamic' field effect and a long-range 'radiation' field effect. The equivalents are demonstrated in an electromagnetic field.

If this matter field exists, and it seemingly does, it must be closely related to the well-known electromagnetic field, since matter and energy are considered interchangable ( e=mc2 ). The fields (electromagnetic and gravitational) must therefore be connected by a certain set of functions such that one can be made to affect the other.

The Biefeld-Brown experiments seem to utilize this connection most effectively - while all the experiments give clues to the ultimate solution.

The Biefeld-Brown Effect

Some years ago, Professor Biefeld outlined to his student, Townsend Brown, certain experiments which led to the discovery of the phenomenon now known as the Biefeld-Brown effect. Further, these experiments helped to define the inter-relationship of electrical and gravitational fields. This coupling effect parallels electricity and magnetism.

This means that from the technical and commercial aspects, the Biefeld-Brown effect has potentialities for future development and exploitation at least as great as the present electrical industry -probably much more so!

Consider that electromagnetism is basic to electric generators and motors, power production and distribution, radio, television, radar, telephones, etc., and is indispensibly linked to all forms of commercial and other types of transportation. Then it can be easily seen that the possibility of a parallel development in the electrogravitational phenomena has almost unlimited prospects !!! The original experiments conducted by Townsend Brown, as suggested by Professor Biefeld, concerned the behavior of a condenser when charged with electricity. The first startling result was that if placed in a free suspension with the poles horizontal, the condenser, when electrically charged, showed a forward thrust toward the positive pole !!! When the polarity was reversed, it caused a reversal of the direction of thrust. The experiment was set up in this manner:

The gravity-control effect of vertical thrust is demonstrated by balancing a condenser on a beam balance and then charging it. Upon charging, if the positive pole is pointed upward, the condenser moves upward. Conversely, if the charge is reversed, and the positive pole is pointed downward, the condenser thrusts down. The experiment is set up as follows:

These two simple experiments demonstrate what is now known as the Biefeld-Brown effect. This then is a method of eventually controlling gravity for man's use.

The intensity or magnitude of the effect is determined by five known factors, namely:

1.The separation of the plates of the condenser - the closer the plates, the greater the effect.

2.The ability of the material between the plates to store electrical energy in the form of elastic stress. A measure of this ability is called the 'K' factor of the material. The higher the 'K', the greater the Biefeld-Brown effect.

3.The area of the condenser plates - the greater area giving the greater effect.

4.The voltage difference between the plates - the greater the voltage, the greater the effect.

5.The mass of the material between the plates - the greater the mass, the greater the effect.

It is this fifth factor which is unexplainable from the electromagnetic aspect, and which apparently provides the connection with gravitation.

Now that the basic concept of electrogravitation has been presented in the form of the Biefeld-Brown effect, we can now present the refinements necessary to accomplish the desired goal of a vehicle powered by a gravity-control (antigravity) mechanism.

The Earth creates and is surrounded with a gravitational field which approaches zero as we go deeper and deeper into space. This field 'presses' objects and people towards the Earth's surface, and therefore 'presses our conjectured vehicle to the ground. However, thru the utilization of the Biefeld-Brown effect, our vehicle can generate an electrogravitational field of its own which modifies the Earth's gravity field.

This generated field acts like a wave, with the negative pole at the top of the wave, and the positive pole at the bottom. Our vehicle travels like a surfboard on the incline of a wave that is kept continually moving by the vehicle's electrogravitational generator. Since the orientation of the field can be controlled, the vehicle can thus travel on its own continuously generated wave in any desired angle or direction of flight !

Dr. Edwin Saxl - Electrified Pendulum

An interesting experiment conducted by Dr. Edwin Saxl and reported in Nature Magazine seemingly utilized the same connection between electricity and gravity that the Biefeld-Brown effect uses.

In his experiment, Dr. Saxl placed a torque pendulum inside an electrified cage. The cage was electrically charged with voltages varying from 0 to 5000 volts. With these conditions, the period of the pendulum was noted to decrease as the voltage increased.

Since the period of a pendulum is directly proportional to the gravitational constant, the conclusion is that gravity and/or mass was decreased within the statically charged cage.

Editor's Note: Major Keyhoe has been writing about Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO's) for over 15 years. What goes up (and around ) does not necessarily have to come down. Major Keyhoe maintains 'Not known fields of force' allow saucers to behave peculiarly: To hover motionlessly, turn on a dime, and accelerate at fantastic speeds. And only a crash 'G' program on our part can counteract it.

 


One night last February, over the North Pacific, a Flying Tiger Airlines crew had a startling aerial encounter. What they saw is a clue to a fantastic technical mystery. In its solution lies a prize so great that six government agencies are searching for it right now. The answer may not be far off. What they are searching for is the secret of gravity control.

About midnight on February 15, the Flying Tiger plane, carrying a military group from the U.S. to Japan, was four hours out of Anchorage. Suddenly the cockpit radar picked up three fast- moving objects. The plane captain and his crew looked out at the side and saw three huge oval-shaped ships, glowing red in the night.

An Air Force captain who was a passenger on the plane was called forward to confirm the sighting. His signed report is in the files of the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena.

According to the captain's report, the unknown machines slowed down to the airliner's speed and flew in close formation. Five miles away, by radar range, they leveled off to pace the plane.

The Air Force captain computed their length as much more than 700 feet. It was plain that the giant Unidentified Flying Objects had an unknown type of propulsion. No jets, no exhausts were visible. For 30 minutes, still in formation, they continued to pace the plane. Then, swiftly accelerating to 1,200 knots, they climbed out of sight in seconds.

This startlingly swift acceleration is a maneuver that could not be duplicated by any ship now made on Earth. What makes it possible for UFO's? According to many scientists and engineers, there is only one possible answer. The answer is ANTIGRAVITY : artificial gravity fields and control of gravity power.

Control of gravity is something that men have been dreaming about for centuries. Now it appears that we are on the threshold of achieving it. Its value, to the country that first attains it, is incalculable. Our government, hoping for a technical breakthrough, has set up 46 different research projects on various aspects of gravity control. The Air Force is running 33 of these projects and the others are divided among five other agencies.

Included in the 46 government projects are experiments and research at two Air Force Laboratories (Flight Dynamics and General Physics Research), Radio Corporation of America, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and several technical engineering centers. In addition, official projects are being carried out at Barkley and Dexter Laboratories, Fitchburg, Massachusetts; Israel Institute of Technology; the Universities of California, Denver, Harvard, Indiana, Manchester (England), Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Purdue, Stockholm (Sweden), Syracuse, Texas, and two New York schools - Queens College and Yeshiva Graduate School of Science.

And, of course, some government agencies have projects so secret that they are not publicly registered and cannot be revealed without permission.

Private industry is also looking at the question of gravity control with new seriousness. A large number of giant corporations, including Bell Aerospace, General Electric, Hughes Aircraft, Boeing, Douglas and many others, have set up gravity projects.

If you add up all the known gravity programs being run by the government and private industry, you get somewhere between 65 and 70 projects. This means there is a heavy concentration of scientific and engineering brains working on the problem.

One leading scientist who is convinced that UFO's are spaceships using gravity control is Dr. Hermann Oberth. Doctor Oberth, a recognized authority, was co-designer of the V-2 rocket and later a U.S. special consultant at Huntsville, Alabama, one of the installations where important antigravity research is now underway.

"With ordinary propulsion," Doctor Oberth told me in 1961, "such violent accelerations and maneuvers would endanger the ship. Also, the force would crush any creatures aboard against the rear or sides of the machine. But with an artificial gravity field the force applies simultaneously to the passengers and the spaceship. Even in swift changes of speed and direction, the ship is not strained and the passengers feel nothing."

Today, Doctor Oberth is willing to go further. He is now of the opinion "that energy, inertia and gravitational fields are only aspects of one and the same thing" and that it will prove impossible to separate them from each other. What he has in mind, he says, is "not yet known fields of force" which can be used to accelerate material objects in a way similar to the force of gravity.

Another noted authority who agrees that UFO's are using artificial G fields is William P. Lear, Sr. multimillionaire inventor, pilot, designer of air and space equipment and builder of jet aircraft. Lear, who once sighted a UFO from his executive plane, predicts that future U.S. vehicles will also use artificial gravity.

"The people on board would probably not feel any more effect," Lear says, "than they do from the tremendous speed of the Earth as it rotates and orbits the sun."

Several years ago, Glenn Martin's vice-president for advanced design, G.S. Trimble, predicted that by 1985 practically all airliners would be using artificial gravity, flying at almost unbelievable speeds. At about the same time, future airliner speeds of 10,000 mph or more were pictured by Dr. Walter Dornberger, then Bell Aircraft's chief guided-missile scientist and now president of Bell aerospace.

Grover Loening, pioneer aircraft builder and consultant to the Air Force, said it even more strongly.

"I firmly believe that before long man will acquire the ability to build an electromagnetic contragravity mechanism that works," he stated.

A top official of Bethlehem Steel, Jesse V. Honeycutt, has indicated some of the results we can expect if Loening is right.

"Serious research is being concentrated on in an attempt to solve the mystery of gravity and bring about a control of its power.... It would bring about a greater revolution in power, transportation and many other fields than the discovery of atomic power," he stated.

Antigravity? It seems inconceivable. Yet, the search goes on and many responsible men believe the answer will be found. And, to my mind, it is the only possible explanation for the performance of the UFO'S.

The stakes are so high that no clue can be overlooked. The Air Force Technical Intelligence, hunting for overlooked leads, is carefully checking hundreds of verified UFO reports. Hopefully, some of them will help us find out how these strange vehicles operate.

Four days before Christmas, 1964, a round, metallic craft about 125 feet in diameter was observed to make a brief landing in a field near Staunton, Virginia. Two Du Pont scientists later took Geiger counters to the site.

"It was 'hot'- highly radioactive," Du Pont engineer Lawrence Cook reported. "We checked for 45 minutes-it was definitely 'hot.'"

In Puerto Rico, near dusk on December 26, 1964, Ramey Air Force Base radar spotted two large discs. As A4D jets streaked up to pursue them, the discs accelerated to terrific speed. Making instant right-angle turns-impossible for any known aircraft-they vanished over the Atlantic.

On March 21, 1965, Capt. Yoshiaki Inada, piloting a Toa Airlines Convair on a domestic Japanese flight, was chased by a "mysterious, elliptical luminous object." Flying close to the plane, the UFO blanked out his radio and "violently interferred" with his automatic direction finding equipment.

Puzzling earlier cases also are being rechecked. On July 1, 1954, an AF F-94 - a two-man jet-was scrambled to chase a UFO near Walesville, New York. When the pilot tried to close in, a sudden, unbearable heat filled the cockpit. Half-dazed the pilot and radar officer bailed out. The jet crashed in the street, killing two children and their parents.

These odd phenomena, high radiation, mysterious heat and electrical interference may be side effects of gravity control devices.

Like most people, you probably took gravity for granted before space flights began. Now you know, for example, that one "G" is the Earth's normal gravitational pull. This is what holds you to the seat of your chair-and more importantly, keeps you from being tossed into the air by the Earth's rotation. You feel two or three G's in a roller coaster or a stunting plane-a mere hint of what our astronauts have to endure during blast-off and acceleration.

But gravity causes a lot of trouble and expense we seldom think about. Aircraft and rocket builders have to provide heavy engines, huge weights of fuel, just to offset gravity. In construction of buildings, bridges, and in a hundred other ways, G affects our lives and adds billions to the cost of work.

Gravity control could reduce or end many of these problems.

How soon can we expect antigravity ?

Some researchers say it may take a long time. Others believe there may be a sudden breakthrough. If that happens, there will be some fantastic results.

First, obviously, our space program would take a big leap forward. Instead of our present wasteful rockets, we could build spaceships matching the UFOs' high speeds and maneuvers. With such advanced ships, we could make swift flights to the moon and the planets.

Recently, Alexander de Seversky stated that,

"with abundant energy available, we will move in space with constant acceleration or deceleration. Accelerating halfway to our goal and decelerating the rest of the way at one G or 32.2 feet per second, the moon will be reached in three and a half hours, Venus in 36 hours, Mars in two days, Jupiter in six."

According to Oberth, German physicist Burkhard Heim and other scientists, gravity control will enable spaceships to reach even greater speeds than these. With such advanced machines, we could explore the nearest star systems a century or more ahead of our present timetable.

Using carrier or "parent" ships with short-range probes, we could fully explore a planet - either by remote control or direct observation - before attempting to land. Many cases are on record in which large UFO's have lunched small units, apparently for close observation of the Earth, then retrieved them in swift, precise operations.

In one such case (an official AF Intelligence report), groups of small UFO's flying at 5240 mph. were seen and tracked by the crew of an AF B-29. One group, after abruptly slowing to pace the bomber, resumed its speed within seconds. The small UFO's were then seen to merge with or go aboard a huge carrier which accelerated to more than 9,000 mph before it disappeared.

Because of G-crafts' tremendous speeds, the picture of possible military operations becomes hair-raising. Let's take as a basis the figure in a documented case at White Sands Proving Ground, where Navy scientists saw and tracked a UFO flying at 18,000 mph.

Such terrific speeds could put bombers back into the picture in place of missiles. Attacks by G-bombers from base near major targets would take less than five minutes. If a "brush-fire" war broke out halfway around the world, a huge G-transport carrying a fully armed division or even an army could be on the scene in 40 minutes, or less.

Another effect of gravity control will be a big change in air travel. Here's what a G-liner trip would be like, according to several researchers. Let's say you are making a making a flight from New York to London. Your seat has no safety belts - none are needed. The ship takes off vertically, accelerating at incredible speed. You feel weightless but you feel no motion.

The airliner arcs up into a great circle course, silently, with no "bumps" - no rough air. In 10 to 15 minutes, London suddenly takes shape below. There is no long approach, skimming over rooftops. You descend vertically and land. If traffic is heavy, your pilot would stop the ship in midair and hover until cleared.

In spite of the speed, you'd be safer - especially in regard to many of the strange eddies which have thrown jet airliners into uncontrollable dives.

In probing the riddle of gravity, project scientists try widely different approaches - some even contrary to accepted natural laws.

Under an Army contract, a University of Detroit team has built a 4,000-pound, specially wired rotor which spins at 100,000 rpm. With this unique device, scientists are testing gravitational radiation theories searching for a possible key to G control.

Using gravity meters based on new principles of physics Air Force teams make frequent flights around the equator and over the poles, to speed up world wide measurement of the Earth's gravitational pull. Tied in with this is a network of gravity stations and special projects all over the world.

Though no breakthrough has occurred (unless in highly secret projects) two significant facts have been established.

1. The Earth's G field is relatively weak, compared with the pull of gravity between planets and the sun.

2. There is a connection between gravity and electromagnetic fields.

Igor Sikorsky, discussing the colossal force of spatial G, says a steel cable about 8,000 miles thick would be needed to hold the Earth in its orbit - if it were not for gravity.

But, fortunately for our anti-G search, the Earth's gravity pull, for objects on the ground or at average flight altitudes, is fairly small. Likewise, the force required to cancel its pull would be relatively small - if a method can be found.

Using various barriers we can shield ourselves from heat, light and sound waves. But, so far, no way has been found to create a gravity shield. Some scientists still call the gravity shield idea a "lunatic fringe" notion. But many now refuse to say that such a thing is completely impossible.

Are UFO's using a gravity shield ? In an effort to find out, the Air Force is renewing its attempts to capture a UFO. If we could get one on the ground, undamaged, it might make possible a big shortcut in our gravity research and save us years of slow, tedious scientific work.

In the past, many Air Force pilots have tried to down UFO's, without success. But the Air Force has new reason for hope now, based on the recent increase on low-altitude UFO approaches and "touch landings."

On the night of January 12, 1965, an officer of a federal law enforcement agency had a close encounter. As he was driving his official car toward Blaine Air Force Station, in Washington, a flying disc 30 feet in diameter hurtled down at his automobile. At the last moment the disc arched up steeply, avoiding collision. When the officer jumped out, he saw the UFO hovering overhead. After a minute, it shot up into clouds at high speed.

A short time afterward, the UFO or a similar one - was seen landing in a field near Blaine, melting the snow and scorching the ground before it took off. When the AF questioned the federal officer, they said they had tracked the UFO by radar as it raced down toward his car. This officer, like many other UFO witnesses was warned by his superiors not to let his name be used in connection with the sighting.

On January 27, 1965, two NASA engineers sighted a UFO which touch landed near Hampton, Virginia. One witness was Maj. John Nayadley, a retired AF jet pilot. The other was A.G. Crimmins, who saw the strange machine maneuvering toward the ground.

"It was zigzagging as if searching for a landing spot," said Crimmins. "I watched it through 20 x 50 binoculars and I could see flashing lights. They appeared to be on the rim of a rapidly rotating disc."

Before anyone could reach the spot, the flying disc took off and rapidly climbed out of sight.

The step-up in UFO chases was demonstrated at Washington, D.C. on January 11, 1965, when AF jets pursued several flying objects over the city. The chase was confirmed by an Army Lieutenant-Colonel and a group of Army communications specialists.

If jets had been near any of the "touch" sites, they might have swarmed down and kept the UFO from getting away. But records of previous attempts to capture UFO's indicate it will be a tough job.

Whether we capture a UFO or not, the search for the elusive secret will go on. The connection between gravity and electromagnetic fields may provide the key to the mystery.

For several sears, Burkhard Heim, director of the German Research Institute of Field Physics at Goettingen, Germany, has been searching for the answer to the gravity riddle. Finally, Heim revealed that by direct experimentation he had discovered a positive lead to antigravity. The discovery involved an intermediate field, neither electromagnetic nor gravitational.

The results, Heim stated, if applied to space fight, would be direct levitation, conversion of electricity into kinetic energy without any waste, and "immunizing the occupants and the structures of such vehicles against any effects from acceleration of the vehicle, however great and violent."

After the first shock, several scientists examined Heim's claims.

"His approach is not in conflict with known laws of nature, and it agrees with the quantum theory," A.R. Weyl said in an analysis for the British magazine, Aeronautics.

"If Heim's theories were right, the amazing properties commonly ascribed to the 'mysterious flying saucers' would be, in fact, sound physics and proper engineering."

Through Heim's work toward the goal of an actual antigravity force researchers may discover new scientific laws and their work may invalidate old theories.

Some scientists are already saying privately that Einstein's famous "general theory of relativity" may turn out to be totally fallacious. Newton's law has also come in for attacks. However, Robert Forward, G expert of Hughes Aircraft Company, uses the Einstein theory to show that it is possible to partially nullify the Earth's gravitational field. The amount of nullification obtainable with present-day technology is extremely small, however. Forward predicts that some day, when our technology is greatly advanced, we will be able to "create artificial gravity fields at will."

With a real all-out effort this could happen a lot sooner than the 10 or 20 years many scientists have in mind.

But getting enough top men to work in the field is a problem. One scientist says, "Scientists are sensitive about their reputations and many of them still think antigravity is a joke. If they knew the facts, they'd be eager to get into it."

Fear among scientists is partially due to the Air Force censorship of UFO reports. Air Force censors not only hide the facts but also belittle those who publicly report UFO sightings.

One recent victim was Dempsey Bruton, chief of satellite tracking at NASA's Wallops Island station in Virginia. On January 5, 1965, Bruton saw a strange round object flying at terrific speed toward the station. After it passed overhead, the UFO shot straight up out of sight. Using the elapsed time of six to nine seconds - and angles and times reported by other witnesses, Bruton said the speed was definitely "several thousand miles per hour, possibly 8,000 mph. or even higher." The AF, implying he was incompetent, rejected the report and said it was not evidence of any technically superior machine.

But AF policy notwithstanding, the drive to get the secret of antigravity is well underway. It can't be stopped now. But it can be speeded up. We are already spending billions on the space program on the race to the moon, to Mars. Harnessing gravity could put us years ahead and save us enormous sums of money.

With control of the universe at stake, a crash program is imperative. We produced the A-bomb, under the huge Manhattan Project, in an amazingly short time. The needs, the urgency today are even greater. The Air Force should end UFO secrecy, give the facts to scientists, the public, to Congress. Once the people realize the truth, they would back - even demand - a crash G program.

For this is one race we dare not lose.

I was torn between releasing a highly scientific paper that most would not understand and releasing a non-technical document that would be disregarded by the scientific community. With this format, I may have the best (or worst) of both. I'm not sure which. I am, however, working on a journal-ready treatise.

Section 1: What is antigravity?

As was noted in Chapter 2, Einstein's "cosmological constant," a postulated minute repulsion force necessary to account for the absence of universal gravitational compression was not completely rejected until 1999 when it was discovered that it was not a constant at all, but must have varied over the universe's life. Equations didn't allow for the acceleration of the newborn universe accurately without increasing the cosmological constant.

Also that year, it was determined that the beautiful, unexplained, axial jets of matter and x-rays and gamma rays observed from black holes, neutron stars and galactic centers were the result of a repulsive force arising perpendicular to their rotation. Note that the jets appear to turn on and off as one would expect if matter passed over the axial repulsive fields variably] The repulsive effect is so strong from galactic centers that if our sun were placed in the repulsive field, its entire mass would be accelerated almost instantly to a speed quite near to the speed of light. Not only that, but the light emitted by the sun would be compressed to x-ray and gamma-ray energies as it traveled down the repulsion gradient. This wavelength compression happens in an opposite fashion to the wavelength expansion that is theorized to occur as light nears a massive gravitational source. Soon after these discoveries were described, the "cosmological constant" was discarded and equations describing the antigravitic effect substituted.

The antigravitic effect is best visualized as a two-body interaction. Assume the two bodies have equal mass and therefore equal gravitational pull. Assume the bodies are in a stable orbit around one another, maintaining an equal distance between them. The bodies orbit in a single plane around a single axis. As they orbit, a repulsive force is emitted from each body perpendicular to the orbital plane. The force is equal to each body's resistance to the gravitational pull of the other. In other words, the resistance to orbital compression is redirected perpendicular to the orbital plane. In our example, the average repulsive effect could be visualized as a cylinder or repulsion perpendicular to the orbital plane and intersecting with the orbital path. The repulsive force increases exponentially as the orbital plane is approached. As the mass and orbital speeds increase, the antigravity forces are likewise increased.

In most situations, the antigravity force is insignificant, due, in part, to the perpendicularity of the effect and also because the gravitational forces resisted are normally minute. This is why the "cosmological constant" was set so low and often questioned. However, a black hole's gravitational pull is hardly small. It's this incredibly strong gravity that causes the huge antigravitic displays from black holes as their cores rotate and resist further compression.

Descriptive equations of antigravitic interactions are only simple in two dimensions. It's impossible to predict the repulsive effect generated by the complex and variable rotation of our sun. Suffice it to say that repulsion is strongest from the axis and negligible from the plane of rotation. It is this repulsive effect that accounts for the planarity, or disk-like shape of our own solar system and the repulsion of enough matter to form our Oort cloud. It is also this effect that accounts for the planarity of a black hole's accretion disk and even the planarity of galaxies.

Section 2: How was antigravity harnessed?

No discussion of antigravity would be complete without discussing the discoveries that allowed humanity to harness the repulsive force. In 1999 again, it was discovered that the antigravity effect could be duplicated in a laboratory by spinning atomic nuclei at very high speeds. An atom's nucleus is ultra-dense, not so unlike a tiny black hole. Because nuclei rotate fairly stabily and without friction, it is possible to accelerate their rotation to their maximum speed and produce very strong antigravitic effects.

So, how does one make nuclei rotate? It was discovered that certain nucleic geometries reflect, to a small degree, the movements of nearby electrons. The elements that exhibit such geometries have an odd number of protons and an even number of neutrons. In such atoms, the protons are not uniformly dispersed throughout the nucleus. Instead, one side of the nucleus is slightly more positive than the other. Elements that have this unbalanced nuclear charge are called electro-rotational elements. They exhibit a slight natural antigravitic effect which may be deduced by observing their atomic radii. The atomic radii of electro-rotational elements are significantly smaller than expected due to the repulsive effect generated by neighboring atoms. The electro-rotational element with the most massive nucleus is Bismuth, element 83. Its nucleus has the greatest gravitational pull and therefore can demonstrate the largest antigravitic effect when spun.

It was discovered that a sufficient electrical charge passed down a micro-thin ribbon of Bismuth sped and aligned the rotation of the Bismuth nuclei so that the axis were aligned perpendicular to the electrical flow. It was also discovered that micro-layers of Bismuth exhibit near superconductive properties at room temperature. This near superconductivity happens as the nuclei spin at very high speeds and act as miniature flywheels, guiding the electron flow and reducing electrical resistance. The first atomic antigravitic device was constructed in 1999. My, that was a busy year! The device was simply a 10 centimeter wide ribbon of Bismuth half a kilometer long and an average of 3 microns thick. It was coiled around a hollow copper core with a similar, 25-micron thick dielectric ribbon coiled around the core and between each Bismuth layer. The free end of the bismuth ribbon was grounded. When a high-voltage charge was applied to the copper core, the device punched through the ceiling and roof of the lab at a speed that was later estimated to be around Mach 8.

The antigravity platforms that we see every day use three standard antigravity generators of this type mounted at angles around an axis with 120 degrees separating each. Other designs were explored. One of the most successful ideas was to apply the Bismuth and dielectric layers directly to the exterior surface of a craft. This antigravitic "skin" slightly lowered manufacturing costs and allowed easier repairs. It also allowed us to explore our solar system with a greater safety factor and at higher speeds due to the protection from micro-meteorites offered by the repulsion field that surrounded the craft. The first shape to get its antigravitic skin was the cigar shape. It was coated with the successive Bismuth and dielectric layers. When a sufficient high-voltage charge was passed across the Bismuth micro-layers from one end to the other, the repulsive field was generated tangential to the "skin" and perpendicular to the axis plane, giving a nice, stable lift. With the addition of two standard antigrav generators (one at each end of the cigar) maneuverability was achieved.

The traditional "flying saucer" shape was explored next. It was coated similarly and charged from top to bottom. Again, the repulsive field was generated tangential to the "skin" and perpendicular to the axis plane. Sitting on the ground, it repulsed laterally, providing zero lift. To direct the repulsion force from the lateral, the electrical flow needed to be made to travel around the axis instead of taking the shortest, fastest route between poles. The closer the spiraling of the electron flow, the closer the repulsive field aligns with the axis plane and therefore repulses more up and down. This spiraling was accomplished first with a spirally wound core and then more efficiently with a winding just deep of exterior surface. With this design, only one standard antigrav generator mounted axially is needed to provide maneuverability. [Note from Joshua 4/24/99: the addition of a ferrous layer near the winding, may or may not increase efficiency. I don't know. Using pulsed, high voltage DC, it's possible that in such an arrangement, nucleic rotation would be affected by both the electrical flow and the magnetic field.]

There are limitations to these craft arising from the fact that all the repulsive forces are directed tangential to the surface and never reach the interior of the craft. This limited the ac celeration and deceleration to that which a human body could withstand. Then somebody had a brilliant idea. Why not put the occupants outside, on top of the craft. This way, the repulsion forces generated would, to a large degree, counter-balance the inertial forces on occupants as the craft accelerated. This is why we see domes on the top of early designs. Eventually, it was discovered that by using an exterior surface that had a sine wave ripple instead of a smooth surface, the repulsive effect could be directed into the interior.

In conclusion:

Antigravity has allowed us to safely explore our solar system and to send explorers at high speeds to nearby stars. It gave us unlimited, clean, electrical power. It brought humanity together as nothing had before and caused us all to think seriously about our collective future. It eliminated much of our pollution and allowed our planet to begin to heal. It also made everyone look carefully at the magnificent design of the Universe and consider that it may have been intelligently created.

A personal statement from the author

Of course, this information is not really from the future any more than I am. This information is, however, factual, though perhaps not chronologically correct.

And now, I would like to personally and sincerely apologize to the individuals, governments and corporate entities that may have to change their plans, and/or accept financial and other losses due to the release of this knowledge. However, I believe that it is quite proper now to release this information and allow our society its rightful technological leap. For if antigravity itself does not allow super-efficient electrical generation due to the Laws of Conservation, it certainly does provide the means to supply our entire electrical requirements. For, with simple antigravity platforms high in the atmosphere and very long wires reaching down to the ground, as Tesla proposed, we may siphon off as much electricity as we like from our atmosphere, which is continually being recharged anyway.

In order to offset the negative a bit, I presently offer my ideas, designs, and theories, indeed my antigravitational technology, and my ability to profit from it - to every individual, government, and corporate entity. But only if we agree to one condition. We have to share it. And we have to help those whose lives are disrupted due to it. Oh, that's two conditions. Well, we should do both, but we must share.

Oh, it will be weird to see strange things floating around. I wonder if they'll make the horses bolt?

It is proposed that the various types of antigravity devices be categorized into the following seven groups:

I. MECHANICAL ANTIGRAVITY DEVICES:

These are purely mechanical devices generally involving high speed rotation and forced precessional features using different materials in some cases. Example members are from Laithwaite, Wallace, Kidd, McCabe, Stratchen, Delroy, Foster, Dean, Forward, dePalma, Hayasaka and Cowlishaw.

II. ACCOUSTICAL ANTIGRAVITY DEVICES:

These devices have no moving parts but employ vibration to alter nuclear interactions with gravity such as the work of Keely, Tibetan's stone levitation, Leedskelstein, and some inventors of acoustical levitation devices.

III. CHARGED STATIC/ROTATING DISC/CONES ANTIGRAVITY:

These are electrostatic/magnetic devices using stationary electrodes at high voltage such as T .T. Brown/Bielfeld and Bahnson, Naudin, Hartman, Nipher, Pages, Kelly, Rieken as well as rotating components such as Searl, Hammel, Davidson, Saxl, Halik, Shauberger, Carr, Hooper, Huaro, Smith and Vril/Shumann.

IV. AC/RF OR MICROWAVE ELECTROMAGNETIC ANTIGRAVITY DEVICES:

In this group are devices with no moving parts having high frequency electromagnetic fields such as Alzofon, Tesla, Littlejohn, Sweet, Nielson, Seike, Hutchingson, Farrow, Bielik, Zinser, Peshka, Schlecker, and Smith, etc.

V. SOLID STATE ANTIGRAVITY DEVICES:

These devices have their seat of antigravitic/shielding action within the atomic/lattice structure in both steady-state and transient modes such as the BaICuO superconductors used in the Podleketnov and Schnurer devices, (and those who have replicated their effects) as well as excitons in doped crystals.

VI. NUCLEAR ANTIGRAVITATION:

This entails the alteration of the interactions with the nucleus or its modification, to yield a change in weight or generation of gravity beams, or breakdown of Newton's third law such as in the work of Bearden, Wallace, Dan Fry, Gilbert Jordan, extraterrestrial spacecraft (Lazar's element 115), Celtan, white powder (monoatomic elements), Dr. Charles Brush, and possibly cold fusion with ZPE interaction.

VII. BIOLOGICAL ANTIGRAVITY DEVICES:

These involve the human or animal element to obtain levitation, or weightless, psychokinetic action or inertia modification as in the Dr. William Crookes work on Home, Clark's party levitation, yogi masters, religious saints, Russian mirror chamber research, bumblebee flight as well as the Rhino Beetle.

This is the first of a series on new pure and applied research into the mysteries of gravity and efforts to devise ways to counteract it. Written by Ansel E. Talbert, military and aviation editor, N.Y.H.T.

The initial steps of an almost incredible program to solve the secret of gravity and universal gravitation are being taken today in many of America's top scientific laboratories and research centres. A number of major, long-established companies in the United States aircraft and electronics industries also are involved in gravity research. Scientists, in general, bracket gravity with life itself as the greatest unsolved mystery in the Universe. But there are increasing numbers who feel that there must be a physical mechanism for its propagation which can be discovered and controlled.

Should this mystery be solved it would bring about a greater revolution in power, transportation and many other fields than even the discovery of atomic power. The influence of such a discovery would be of tremendous import in the field of aircraft design - where the problem of fighting gravity's effects has always been basic.

A FANTASTIC POSSIBILITY

One almost fantastic possibility is that if gravity can be understood scientifically and negated or neutralized in some relatively inexpensive manner, it will be possible to build aircraft, earth satellites, and even space ships that will move swiftly into outer space, without strain, beyond the pull of earth's gravity field. They would not have to wrench themselves away through the brute force of powerful rockets and through expenditure of expensive chemical fuels.

Centres where pure research on gravity now is in progress in some form include the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, N.J. and also at Princeton University: the University of Indiana's School of Advanced Mathematical Studies and the Purdue University Research Foundation.

A scientific group from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which encourages original research in pure and applied science, recently attended a seminar at the Roger Babson Gravity Research Institute of New Boston, N.H., at which Clarence Birdseye, inventor and industrialist, also was present. Mr. Birdseye gave the world its first packaged quick-frozen foods and laid the foundation for todays frozen food Industry: more recently he has become interested in gravitational studies.

A proposal to establish at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, N.C., an 'Institute of Pure Physics' primarily to carry on theoretical research on gravity was approved earlier this month by the University's board of trustees. This had the approval of Dr. Gordon Gray who has since retired as president of the University. Dr. Gray has been Secretary of the Army, Assistant Secretary of Defence, and special assistant to the President of the United States.

FUNDS COLLECTED: Funds to make the institute possible were collected by Agnew H. Bahnson jr., an industrialist of Winston Salem, N.C. The new University of North Carolina administration is now deciding on the institute's scope and personnel. The directorship has been offered to Dr. Bryce S. Dewitt of the Radiation Laboratories at the University of California at Berkeley, who is the author of a Roger Babson prize-winning scientific study entitled, 'New Directions for Research in the Theory of Gravity.'

The same type of scientific disagreement which occurred in connection with the first proposals to build the hydrogen bomb and an artificial earth satellite -now under construction - is in progress over anti-gravity research. Many scientists of repute are sure that gravity can be overcome in comparatively few years if sufficient resources are put behind the project. Others believe it may take a quarter of a century or more.

REFUSE TO PREDICT:Some pure physicists, while backing the general program to try to discover how gravity is propagated, refuse to make predictions of any kind. Aircraft industry firms now participating or actively interested in gravity include Glenn L. Martin Co. of Baltimore, builders of the nation's first giant jet-powered flying boat; Convair of San Diego, designers and builders of the giant B-36 intercontinental bomber and the world's first successful vertical take-off fighter; Bell Aircraft of Buffalo, builders of the first piloted airplane to fly faster than sound and a current jet take-off and landing airplane, and Sikorsky Division of United Aircraft, pioneer helicopter builders.

Lear, Inc., of Santa Monica, one of the world's largest builders of automatic pilots for airplanes; Clarke Electronics of Palm Springs, California, a pioneer in its field, and the Sperry Gyroscope Division of Sperry-Rand Corp., of Great Neck, L.I., which is doing important work on guided missiles and earth satellites, also have scientists investigating the gravity problem.

USE EUROPEAN EXPERT:Martin Aircraft has just put under contract one of Europe's leading theoretical authorities on gravity and electromagnetic fields - Dr. Burkhard Heim of Goettingen University where some of the outstanding discoveries of the century in aerodynamics and physics have been made, and Dr. Pascual Jordan of Hamburg University, Max Planck Medal winner whose recent work called 'Gravity and the Universe' has excited scientific circles throughout the world.

Dr. Heim, now professor of theoretical physics at Goettingen, and who was a member of Germany's Bureau of Standards during World War II, is certain that gravity can be overcome. Dr. Heim lost his eyesight and hearing, and had both arms blown off at the elbow in a World War II rocket explosion. He dictates his theories and mathematical calculations to his wife.

Martin Aircraft, at the suggestion of George S. Trimble, its vice-president in charge of advanced design planning, is building between Washington and Baltimore a new laboratory for the Research Institute for Advanced Study... A theoretical investigation of the implications for future gravity research in the 'United Field Theory' of the late Dr. Albert Einstein is now underway here.

Although financed by Martin, the Institute will have no connection with the day-to-day business of building airplanes. Its general manager is Welcome Bender.

Up to now no scientist or engineer - so far as is known in the scientific circles - has produced the slightest alteration in the magnitude or direction of gravitational 'force' although many cranks and crackpots have claimed to be able to do this with 'perpetual motion machines.'

NO ACCEPTED THEORY: There is no scientific knowledge or generally accepted theory about the speed with which it travels across interplanetary space, making any two material particles or bodies - if free to move - accelerate toward each other. But the current efforts to understand gravity and universal gravitation both at sub-atomic level and at the level of the Universe have the positive backing today of many of America's outstanding physicists.

These include Dr. Edward Teller of the University of California, who received prime credit for developing the hydrogen bomb; Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer, director of the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton; Dr. Freeman J. Dyson, theoretical physicist at the Institute, and Dr. John A. Wheeler, professor of physics at Princeton University who made important contributions to America's first nuclear fission project.

PURE RESEARCH VIEW: It must be stressed that scientists in this group approach the problem only from the standpoint of pure research. They refuse to predict exactly in what directions the search will lead or whether it will be successful beyond broadening human knowledge generally.

Other top-ranking scientific minds being brought to bear today on the gravity problem are those of Dr. Vaclav Hlavaty, of the University of Indiana, who served with Dr. Einstein on the faculty of Charles University in Prague and later taught advanced mathematics at the Sorbonne in Paris; and of Dr. Stanley Deser and Dr. Richard Arnowitt of the Princeton Institute for Advanced Study.

Dr. Hlavaty believes that gravity simply is one aspect of electromagnetism - the basis of all cosmic forces - and eventually may be controlled like light and radio waves.

HOPE TO FIND KEY: Dr. Deser and Dr. Arnowitt are of the opinion that very recently discovered nuclear and sub-nuclear particles of high energy which are difficult to explain by any present-day theory, may prove to be the key that eventually unlocks the mystery. It is their suggestion that the new particles may prove to be basic gravitational energy which is being converted continually and automatically in an expanding Universe directly into the most useful nuclear and electromagnetic forms.' In a recent scientific paper they point out:

'One of the most hopeful aspects of the problem is that until recently gravitation could be observed but not experimented on in any controlled fashion, while now with the advent in the past two years of the new high-energy accelerators (the Cosmotron and the even more recent Berkeley Bevatron) the new particles which have been linked with the gravitational field can be examined and worked with at will .'

An important job of encouraging both pure and applied gravity research in the United States through annual prizes and seminars as well as, the summarizing of new research for engineers and scientists in industry looking forward to a real 'hardware solution' to the gravity problem is being performed by the Gravity Research Foundation of New Boston, N.H.

This was founded and endorsed by Dr. Roger Babson, economist, who is an alumnus of M.I.T. and a lifelong student of the works of Sir Isaac Newton, discoverer of gravity. Its president is Dr. George Rideout of Boston.

BOSE-EINSTEIN CONDENSATION:

Phenomenon wherein the bosons, a particle whose spin is zero or an integral number, making up a substance - a boson gas-merge into the lowest energy level, into a shared quantum state. More generally it refers to tendency of bosoms to occupy the same state. The crucial distinguishing feature of the concensates is that the many parts that go to make up an ordered system not only behave as a whole, but they become whole and the particles lose their individuality.

EOTVOS EXPERIMENTS:

Experiments which showed that inertia mass and gravitational mass are identical to 1 part in 1.E+05 for all substances tested.

GRAVITY GENERATION:

The generation of gravitational fields by means other than a static mass. Einstein's general relativity predicts that moving masses generate gravitational-like forces which are distinct from the forces due to the usual static Newtonian gravitational field (Forward calls it a "protational field".)

GRAVITATIONAL SHIELDING:

A material which would intercept gravitational fields, creating a field-free region. AC gravitational fields can be shielded against by a mass with an infinitely strong acoustic resonance at the field frequency. To shield against DC gravity fields would require mass dipoles or NEGATIVE MASS.

MEISSNER EFFECT:

The complete expulsion of a magnetic field from a superconductor, that is, a perfect state of diamagnetism, resulting in the repulsion of the two bodies, with respect to each other.

NEGATIVE MATTER:

A material with a negative gravitational mass which could be used to repel ordinary matter. There is strong evidence that antimatter does not have negative mass. A dipole pair consisting one end of negative mass and the other end positive mass, would act as a space drive and accelerate through space.

NULLIFICATION:

The ability to control the gravitational mass of a body or the gravitational constant so that the gravity field of the earth could just be "turned off".

SPACE DRIVE:

A mechanism, or principle, by which a vehicle can be propelled in free space; that is, a device, not a rocket, but something acting on the level of force fields, that does not have to carry reaction mass to throw away via Newton's law of reaction to create thrust.

Knowledge of the Earth Grid or "crystalline Earth" is very ancient and has been utilized by a number of civilizations. The pyramids and ley lines are on the power transfer lines of the natural Earth gravity Grid all over the world. The Earth Grid is comprised of the geometrical flow lines of gravity energy in the structure of the Earth itself.

While the subject of the Earth Grid has by now been covered in a considerable number of publications, one point in the Grid, marked by a long and strange history, at the eastern tip of Lake Ontario, is worth special mention. Most interesting here are two individuals, living one hundred years apart, who were both directly affected by this same Earth Grid point. These men were Daniel Home, the 1 9th century psychic, and Wilbert Smith, the 20th century scientist.

Daniel Home is the world famous levitator of the 1 9th century who lived in this Lake Ontario Grid point area. The period from 1820 to 1850 was apparently very active for this Grid point as many of the crowned heads of Europe and many noted scientists and world dignitaries visited Home and verified his feats of levitation. It is speculated that the Lake Ontario region may have acted as a biolectric triggering device conducive to Home's psychic development.

Meanwhile in the 50th century, because of numerous aircraft crashes in the Lake Ontario Earth Grid area (known as the Marysburgh Vortex, and regarded as "the Other Bermuda Triangle" and "the gateway to oblivion on the eastern end of Lake Ontario"), the Canadian National Research Council and U.S. Navy began Project Magnet in 1950 to investigate the area's magnetic anomalies and possible magnetic utility. This has been the only known official governmental research program into the Earth Grid system. A considerable number of planes and ships had mysteriously vanished from this region, while many UFO sightings were reported, and other bizarre and unearthly phenomena were noted. Wilbert Smith, a Canadian communications engineer in the Department of Transportation, was director of the team of scientists involved in this project. Project Magnet was later officially terminated when the results became too sensitive for the two governments, as the research seemed to touch upon top secret UFO data. Afterwards Wilbert Smith designed several inexpensive gravity devices, such as the Anti-Gravity Proximity Detector, the Magnetic Deflection Detector, and the EMF Collapse Collector.

Smith's speculations are most intriguing He noted large and sometimes mobile gravity anomalies all over the Lake Ontario area. He noted areas of "reduced binding" in the atmosphere above the Lake; the areas were described as "pillar-like columns" a thousand feet across and extending for several thousand feet up into the atmosphere. Moreover, they were invisible and only detectable with sensitive equipment. Peculiarities in gravity and magnetism were noted inside these columns, possibly related to a reduction (or weakening) in the nuclear binding forces holding matter together; the nuclear binding forces seemed stronger in the north and weaker in the south. Some of these mysterious columns appeared to be mobile changing location over time.

Smith theorized that when the weakened nuclear binding forces encountered matter under stress (such as an airplane in flight) the forces holding matter together ceased to exist, exactly along the lines of maximum stress, and the material disintegrated resulting in aircraft disasters. Later theorists suggested that ionization of the air within these columns could generate luminous anomalies, and that increasing energies could make rocks and other dielectrics in the immediate area appear to rise from the ground into the air.

It was also proposed that deep Earth-caused gravity stresses produced the strange atmospheric columns. In a gravity-structured Earth which is part of a gravity universe, that is the mildest form of truthful statement possible. On a planet so determined by gravity, this would be only one of many such gravity-magnetic anomalies present on the Earth Grid. And underlying many of the magnetic peculiarities observed around the Earth is the special principle of diamagnetism, the root of anti-gravity. First we'll see this principle at work in the local context of human-induced levitation.

HUMAN DIAMAGNETISM GRAVITY ANTENNA LEVITATION

The principle of diamagnetism which underlies human-induced levitation and anti-gravity vortexes on the planet can be demonstrated simply in what I call the human gravity antenna. Diamagnetism (explained below) is essentially a magnetic-neutral zone existing between a north and south magnetic field, which can be exploited for purposes of levitation. As I will indicate below, there are many such "magnetic flow reversal points" on the Earth marked by Grid points.

An arrangement of five human beings can be used as a quadruple gravity antenna to perform levitation of the central person. The weight of the central person, the levitatee, does not matter nor is the lack of strength or size of the four levitators important. What is important is the form of the quadropolar positions around the central levitatee (See Diagram 1). Here are a few pointers to keep in mind.

First, the levitators should be positioned 45 degrees off the magnetic compass direction of north, south, east, and west for maximum effectiveness. Second, alternation of male and female sex of the levitators adds to the gravity antenna s power. Third, the hand stack on the head of the central levitatee by the levitators should not have like-gendered (male/male, female/female) hands touching. Fourth, there's no need to think of anything - just hold the hands stacked on the levitatee's head for a count of ten. On the tenth count remove the stacked hands quickly and place one finger each on the four corners of the chair. The person in charge of counting says lift" and up goes the levitated Now let's examine this phenomenon I like to call "Party Levitation" in more specific and practical detail.

To do Party Levitation you will need five people, one to be levitated - henceforth to be called the levitatee - and four to do the levitating - henceforth to be called the levitators.

The levitatee sits in a chair and the four levitators stand around him so that they form a square. One levitator should stand to the levitatee's left, and just behind his shoulder. Another levitator should stand in front of him and to his left, close to his left knee. The other two should stand on the right side of the levitatee's body and in similar positions.

Now the object of 'Party Levitation' is to make the levitatee's body so light in weight that the four levitators can lift him several feet into the air using a single finger each. If the experiment is performed properly none of the levitators will feel the slightest resistance to their efforts. It will be as if the levitatee's body has lost its weight entirely.

While the levitatee is sitting, the four levitators surround him in the manner indicated and place their hands, one atop the other, on his head, as if they were healing him by the laying on of hands.

The person who is going to float must sit relaxed in a straight-backed chair with his legs together, his feet on the floor, and his hands in his lap. The other four participants now stand two on each side of the seated party, one at each shoulder and one at the knee. Instruct all four to extend their arms and place their closed fists together, closed except for the forefingers which should be extended and touching each other along their lengths as shown. The person nearest the seated man's left shoulder is now asked to place his two extended fingers, palms downwards, beneath his left armpit. Likewise, his opposite number inserts his forefingers beneath the right armpit, and again the other two respectively beneath the seated man's knees.

Now invite the four assistants to lift the man in this position, using only these extended fingers. However hard they try, it is impossible. As soon as you have registered their inability to do so, ask them to stack their hands alternately, one on top of the other on the man's head, in such a way that no person has his own two hands together, and then to exert a steady pressure downwards. As they keep this up you count to ten. On the count "nine", they must withdraw their hands quickly from his head and resume their earlier positions with their extended forefingers. On the count of "ten" they must try again to lift the man with those fingers alone. This time he will go soaring into the air with no difficulty whatsoever.

Diamagnetism And Levitation Accomplished at Earth Grid Points

Now, kind reader, reconsider Party Levitation and perhaps do the experiment again but this time have no central person (levitatee). Instead use the heaviest chair you can find. Just stack the hands, touching on the top of the massive chair back and lift (levitate) the heavy chair. Next, place hundreds of pounds of "dead" weight (heavy books) on the chair seat and still levitate it easily with four weak children lifting. What is happening here?

You have created a small, short-duration diamagnetic levitation vortex, which is identical in function to the Earth's big, permanent diamagnetic levitation vortexes at such places as Coral Castle, Florida, or Alice Springs, Australia.

Now, reconsider the diagram of the four persons levitating the massive chair. As humans they are the "mighty four'/ of the four cardinal compass points. Each one of the four is an energy lobe around the central object to be levitated. If I call any one of them north, you can call the others, turning counter-clockwise, west, south, and east (See Diagram 2). Try doing the levitation with only three people, positioned off-center to the appropriate 90-degree spacing. We know that both the exact number and pattern of the human levitator element, but not their exact size or physical strength, are critical to the levitation. Also we know that inanimate weight levitates as easily as animate through using a human diamagnetic vortex. We might try a piano or even a Volkswagen in place of the chair.

The remarkable thing about Party Levitation is that it works anywhere on the Earth's surface, whereas the equivalent big, permanent Earth Grid diamagnetic levitation vortexes all have fixed geographic locations (e.g., southern Florida or central Australia).

Whether it's on the surface of the Earth, or within the human sphere of the four levitators, the mechanism for levitation or anti-gravity is identical. In either case there are four energy lobes or directions. The north-south axis elements are usually called magnetic and the east-west axis elements are called diamagnetic.

Levitation is produced by diamagnetism existing on the surface of the Earth. (or near it). Diamagnetism operates at 90 degrees from magnetic, but in three directions, and not flat and two-dimensional on a sheet of paper as usually drawn. If magnetism flows in the plane of the Earth's surface, then diamagnetism flows straight up. And straight up is the direction that we call levitation or anti-gravity.

In the accompanying diagram (See Diagram 3) Coral Castle s location is shown as Earth grid point #18. The west lobe is what pulled Florida down and opened the Keys area up. The east lobe is the Bermuda Triangle. Coral Castle will be referred to throughout this chapter, so a few words here of introduction to this impressive project are necessary. Coral Castle is a marvelous demonstration in stone and coral of many hidden principles of magnetics, designed and built in southern Florida by the "amateur" scientist Ed Leedskalnin in the 1 930s and 1 940s. This coral-based temple/residence includes stone furniture, a Moon pond, a North Star telescope, a precise Sundial, and other features of exact astronomical alignment.

Look at the larger map of the Earth grid (See Diagram 4) and see the diamagnetic (east-west) lobes of Earth grid point #18 in southern Florida. The tip of the Yucatan and the Mexico/Texas coastline clearly show the west diamagnetic lobe shape of Earth grid point #18. The famous Bermuda Triangle is the east diamagnetic energy lobe of Earth grid point #18 (in season).

One thing we will immediately note is that the east-west diamagnetic lobes of #18 look like a horizontal "bow tie". This happens to be another descriptive name for what is now called in the magnetic sciences a Bloch Wall. The Bloch Wall is central to our understanding of diamagnetism, gravity vortexes, and levitation.

A Bloch Wall is a neutral center region at the junction of two magnetic poles (north/south). (See Diagrams 5, 6, 7) it is thereby a "magnetic flow reversal point" and is also known as a "diamagnetic vortex point". The Bloch Wall is the point of division of the circling vortex, or spin, of the electronic magnetic energies of the north and south poles. The negative energy pole and north pole magnetism spins to the left; the positive energy pole and south pole magnetism spins to the right. The point of zero magnetism and no-spin, and also the point of magnetic reversal where the two spin fields join, is the Bloch Wall.

We have two antithetical elements (polarities) meeting and generating a third element, the Bloch Wall, which is a weak pressure (gravity) generator. The south pole is the source and the north pole is the sink. The individual pole energy rotations are three component vectors and the conjunction (Bloch Wall) is a tensor. The resulting "Broken 8" figure is a two dimensional concept of a quadropole pattern. We can visualize it as the spin 2, circularly polarized, gravity wave force field source.

Two antithetical force fields, the magnetic and the electric (two vector force fields) meet and generate gravity, a neutral center force field and simple two-vector system (tensor). We can state this slightly differently by saying the conjunction of two dipolar generated force field vectors (magnetic and electric) generates a quadropole force field, or gravity. Gravity, as a quadropole source, radiates in a circular 360 degrees polarization pattern, taking two cycles; thus a "spin 2" characteristic exists for gravity, and therefore gravity waves have twice the spin of electromagnetic waves.

The lack of polarization in the gravity field explains why it cannot be neutralized. As a neutral center force element, gravity cannot have polarities by definition. But it is still just as basic a generated force as the polarized forces of the magnet or the electric fields. The electric field, as well as the magnetic field, has a neutral center effect that is also a gravity wave field source. The two polarized main antithetical force fields (magnetic and electric) are triadic in themselves, as polarization by definition requires, and thus they are both gravity field sources.

In all electromagnets the Bloch Wall is actually external to the unit (See Diagram 8). The Bloch Wall, the neutral center gravity wave source, is now in the gap between the magnet faces. In terms of the electromagnetic spectrum, the point of 10 (to the power of 12) Hertz is marked as gravity, while below this is radar, radio, and standard EM frequencies; above it are infrared and optical energy frequencies. This is Nature's neutral center in the radiant energy spectrum where Her standard design triadic system demanded it be placed. 10 (to the power of 12) Hertz is the frequency of radiated gravity (See Diagram 9).

In terms of the Earth Grid, where the Bloch Wall of gravity wave field source exists, certain physically anomalous events can take place - such as spontaneous levitation.

The Earth s diamagnetic flow field hits a reversal Bloch Wall area (south to north) at these special anomaly points like southern Florida or central Australia. The Equator Line is merely a myth for geographers and fools. The magnetic reversal areas of south to north magnetism flow are near the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer; and these "spaced out" anomalies seem to alternate positions around the globe.

The best calculation I've arrived at indicates that there are within the Earth Grid a total of 20 magnetic reversal points, with 10 nearly on the Tropic of Capricorn and 10 magnetic reversal points nearly on the Tropic of Cancer. The two sets of ten points are offset almost equally from each other going around the globe; the northern set is roughly midway between the southern set (See Diagram10).

The planetary distribution of these magnetic reversal points is indicated on the accompanying map. On the large Earth Grid map the northern magnetic reversal points are near #16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 1, 12, 13, 14, and 15 from left to right near the Tropic of Capricorn. The southern magnetic reversal points are near the Tropic of Cancer near Earth grid #46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 41, 42, 43, 44, and 45. The grid map has to be shifted leftward in the South to space it more nearly correct. The North is closer to true. The resulting Earth grid map puts #44 between #13 and #14, for example.

This is the real magnetic flow reversal pattern on the Earth such that above #44 is the northern magnetic flow reversal point (Bloch Wall). This has a beautiful bow tie of diamagnetic energy flows that can be clearly seen as the east and west coastlines of Australia. The plate push from below forced the diamagnetic bow tie up some but it is still very usable.

Why haven't we known about the existence of these 20 magnetic-gravity anomaly points on the Earth Grid before? A compass points North-South anywhere, and so, hiding facts and using the myth of the Equator s magnetic polarity was expedient for our cunning "masters" - the "power elite" who control this planet. The reason for hiding it is obvious: if you knew this truth then you would know that Coral Castle, Giza, Alice Springs, etc., were Bloch Wall (bow ties) or Diamagnetic Vortex Points. Extraordinary things can be done at these diamagnetic bow tie reversal points, such as levitating extremely heavy objects (building Coral Castle and the Great Pyramid of Giza) and launching (secretly) the real, massive space ships and probes (as at Alice Springs, Australia, and Lop Nor, China, for example).

Official knowledge of the considerable utility of many magnetic-gravity anomaly points on the Grid has taken obvious precedence over any concerns for public safety. If the officials warned the fools in planes and boats to stay out of the Bermuda Triangle at certain times, then ordinary citizens would know too much of their secret knowledge. If you are in the wrong place on the wrong day in the Bermuda Triangle you will be a permanent piece of space junk some 20,000 to 75,000 miles out in space.

The Bermuda Triangle off the Florida coast, when active, is a powerful diamagnetic levitator. Usually the Earth contains the energy flow, but with extra stress from the Sun, Moon, and temperature factors, it ruptures upward and levitates anything over the "blow" points. Smaller ruptures will levitate anything under about 500 pounds - such as people - but not the ships they are on.

The magnetic energy flows encounter the Bloch Wall, or bow tie reversal, at these grid locations on Earth. Nature uses the exact same method in a small permanent bar magnet for magnetic polarity reversal. The Bloch Wall is just a great deal larger and much more powerful when operating on the Earth.

Didn't anyone ever wonder why there were no Bloch Wall effects on the mythical Equator? If all the Bloch walls for South to North magnetic polarity reversal were at the Equator, no one would have ever crossed it. That is why Nature designed the Criss-cross mesh reversal system for polarity reversal. And that is why there are Earth Grid points where the unusual diamagnetic systems exist. These points work extremely well, facilitating the construction of places like Coral Castle or the Great Pyramid or aiding the functions of secret space programs - which are all only large-scale versions of our Party Levitations, using natural Earth diamagnetism as a levitator force.

The principles of diamagnetism clearly explain the reasons behind the exact location of secret or publicly-known exploitations of magnetic-gravity anomalies on the Earth Grid. The "knot" top (north) on the "bow tie" magnetic reversal in a simple bar magnet reversal is the prime location to stage a major gravity-defying feat such as Coral Castle, the Great Pyramid, or an Alice Springs/Lop Nor space program (The Lop Nor desert is where the Chinese space program and nuclear testing is centered). The center area of the Bloch Wall (the bow tie's knot) is the steadiest and strongest magnetic (north) point, which is where Leedskalnin put Coral Castle, the Egyptians put the pyramids, somebody put the Easter Island statues, and where the governmental elites put the Alice Springs/Lop Nor sites.

The inventions and researches of the insightful Austrian scientist/naturalist Viktor Schauberger demonstrate the principles of diamagnetism on a small scale of polarity reversals operating in a simple bar magnet. His levitations are diamagnetic systems using water flows. Diamagnetism is the product (or effect) of a flow polarity reversal, like the Bloch Wall of the magnetic flow. Some waterfalls and streams have natural flows of diamagnetism or flow reversal effects. Schauberger simply built artificial water flows with internal powerful reversals in flow energy. These are simply a tubed version of a Bloch Wall system.

The Schauberger water levitators are all continuous type devices for anti-gravity effects. The trout fish, after which Schauberger named his water turbine, senses the coldest area in a waterfall for levitating up it. The waterfall's central spiralling cold flow is an anti-gravity effect area where the energy is driven out (reversed) to directionalized momentum as a natural anti-gravity system. A waterfall's center registers as a zero (or under) on a stressed gravity detector due to the reversed anti-gravity momentum. Schauberger copied this natural design of spiralling cold water flow for levitating system, in his logging flumes and turbines.

Schauberger's implosion turbines interrupted the water suction flow by a special shutoff valve, thus creating a reactive back-pressure force in the same direction as the implosion turbine. This reactive back-pressure force is the lifting (discharge cycle) or levitating action (directional momentum) of these types of devices. The Schauberger water turbines were used as the levitators in his versions of the German World War II Project V-7 Fighter aircraft.

Thus both Victor Schauberger and Edward Leedskalnin, the builder of Coral Castle in Homestead, Florida, wrote about and demonstrated magnetism and the mechanism of levitation applying natural Earth Grid principles of diamagnetism. Leedskalnin had two secrets. First, he knew where, in terms of the Earth Grid, to build Coral Castle. Second, he knew how to do Party Levitation all alone. Try to figure that one out!

Leedskalnin could levitate huge pieces of coral by using the center of mass for the needed slight uplift launching pressure. In Party Levitation, the four outside levitators are lifting the center of mass from the outside edges. If three of the four levitators were to step back at the end of the count of ten hand-stack (charge cycle) and the one remaining levitator would then quickly bend down and reach under the chair to the center of mass and use only two fingers to push upward, then the center man in the chair will levitate. Leedskalnin used a stick or board to push upward at the exact center of mass of his coral slabs to levitate them.

Two of the humans (180 degrees apart) in the Party Levitation scenario are "seen" by Nature as diamagnetism sources. The four people are a small, temporary Earth grid point as far as Nature is concerned. Thus the Bloch Wall reversal effect, or diamagnetism, is created and thus levitation of the central area object results. Schauberger put the mechanism in water tubes and Leedskalnin played alone with his massive stones, but in either case, it is exactly the same process of diamagnetic levitation.

We must remember Leedskalnin was working on a Diamagnetic Earth Grid Point, so all mass objects in that area are always "charged" and easily lifted at their center of mass by a slight upward pushing pressure. Incidentally, due to the shifts in the north and south magnetic poles, Grid Point #18 is now inside Homestead Air Force Base; thus Coral Castle could no longer be built where it is now located.

Here are some additional comments on the subject of anti-gravity, or levitation. The reason for the weight of a mass in a gravitational field is the counter-push of the two masses gravity radiations. As humans we push more powerfully on the Earth via our stress body than the Earth pushes on us. The total of the two pushes of gravity is so-called weight. If we lose gravity (stress push) by radiating it, as in the Party Levitation central element (levitatee), we push less. As our push (gravity) decreases, the Earth s push-effectiveness on us increases. This is "weight loss" or levitation, which is really just letting the Earth push us away. It is not the total quantity of the masses that counts but the effective local gravity field s relative strength.

For example, in the fire hose there is a decrease in the gravity (push) of the water. Thus the Earth pushes the water away, or in other words, the "weight loss" carries further. The circular (quadropolar) pattern of the whirling fire hose nozzle radiates (relieves) some of the water s gravity (stress). It's important to note that Schauberger s designs are based on this kind of water stress (gravity) control.

Levitation (weight loss) control is generally stress lowering via radiation, using gravity's natural characteristics. It works on either organic or inorganic mass, as gravity is the same for both. Think of it as the resultant pushes of two radiating sources, taken locally (These are "near field" design problems). Humans are locally a more powerful source of gravity than the Earth because we push down on it. But as we lose gravity (stress push) power, the Earth pushes us away.

Here are two final observations in this regard. The forms of self-levitation or single operator induced human levitation appear to be hypnotic trance-state "shut downs" of the human body's gravity (stress) generation. Inorganic object levitation, if it is possible, is the "shut down" of the gravity (stress) generation of the object itself. Theoretically this object levitation is possible (as suggested by Coral Castle, pyramids, etc.).

A general theory of levitation systems must cover all of the various methods known to exist. This means there is a common factor among the diverse approaches of Earth Grid, Party Levitation, Dean Drives, Hooper/Over-Unity Electrical Generators, and Schauberger's devices. The common factor is the Zero-Spin Energy Transfer, or the flowing of the non-spin energy. This non-spin energy is a neutral center type of energy flow related to the Bloch Wall phenomena and is the cause of the various types of levitation.

In the Earth Grid Magnetic Reversal Points the straight-up, diamagnetic energy flow is a non-spin energy flow. This energy flow is exactly halfway between counter-clockwise (north) and clockwise (south) flow and therefore it has no spin. Thus the Bow-Tie Knot levitation energy is a non-spin energy flow. In Party Levitation the four levitators drain or temporarily stop the spin energy flow around the levitatee or the inanimate objects. Thus they create a very temporary non-spin energy center which easily levitates.

The Dean Drive type devices cross-cut or dump energy during the Critical Action Time that is, in fact, a non-spin energy. Mechanical as it is, the Dean Drive can generate directionalized momentum (non-spin energy flow) and therefore can be used as a levitator system.

The electromagnetic collapsing field reversals of Hooper or Over-Unity Generators, generate a non-spin energy flow for short periods during each Cycle of operation. Any energetic flow reversal generates some non-spin energy flow. Therefore, electrical coils reversals generate some non-spin energy flow and can be used as levitator devices.

Schauberger energetic water flow systems are reversed by valving, identical to the electrical coil systems. Therefore the Schauberger turbines generate some non-spin energy flow and can be used as levitators.

In a universe of basically spinning energy and particle systems, this non-spin energy has very powerful effects. The non-spin energy is the neutral center force field, belonging to neither side of a generally polarized universe. As such, it is reacted with and repelled very strongly by all energy and particle systems. By the generation of non-spin energy flows and the directional vectoring of these flows, we can design most powerful levitating devices.

If Nature follows rules, which She does, then all we need do is understand Her methods then apply them. Since diamagnetism is a reaction vector at the reversal point of an energetic flow system, all levitation methods must be similar in Nature.

Vortex-Gravity Research Areas Strategically Sited on Earth Grid Points

A most interesting pattern of vortex-gravity research exists in the United States and Canada. The pattern is a counter-clockwise vortex with four turning points or main centers/corners. The four main centers of vortex research are the extreme southern California area (San Diego and vicinity), northern Idaho (Coeur D'Alene area), northern New York State (Hudson River/Montreal area), and northern Georgia (See Diagram 11).

This box-shaped pattern bows both inward and outward as it widens in the North-South axis, which is made of the two-bowed continental coastlines and the major interior mountain ranges on each coast, with a center at Kansas City (Ellsworth). On the western vortex flow the bowing widens and follows the Pacific Ocean coastlines on one side and the Rocky Mountains on the other side going southward. On the eastern vortex flow the bowing widens and follows the Atlantic Ocean coastline on one side and the Catskill/Appalachian Mountains on the other side going northward. The east-west vortex flows are relatively straight and narrow between the coastal vortex flows, to complete the general description of the box shape. (Consult the Earth Grid maps below to see these patterns clearly)

It has been accepted as axiomatic that the way to offset the effects of gravity is to use a lifting surface and considerable molecular energy to produce a continuously applied force that, for a limited period of time, can remain greater than the effects of gravitational attraction. The original invention of the glider, and evolution of the briefly self-sustaining glider, at the turn of the century led to progressive advances in power and knowledge. This has been directed to refining the classic Wright Brothers' approach.

Aircraft design is still fundamentally as the Wrights adumbrated it, with wings, body, tails, moving or flapping controls, landing gear and so forth. The Wright biplane was a powered glider, and all subsequent aircraft, including the supersonic jets of the nineteen-fifties are also powered gliders. Only one fundamentally different flying principle has so far been adopted with varying degrees of success. It is the rotating wing aircraft that has led to the jet lifters and vertical pushers, coleopters, ducted fans and lift induction turbine propulsion systems.

But during these decades there was always the possibility of making efforts to discover the nature of gravity from cosmic or quantum theory, investigation and observation, with a view to discerning the physical properties of aviation's enemy.

It has seemed to Aviation Studies that for some time insufficient attention has been directed to this kind of research. If it were successful such developments would change the concept of sustentation, and confer upon a vehicle qualities that would now be regarded as the ultimate in aviation.

This report summarizes in simple form the work that has been done and is being done in the new field of electrogravitics. It also outlines the various possible lines of research into the nature and constituent matter of gravity, and how it has changed from Newton to Einstein to the modern Hlavaty concept of gravity as an electromagnetic force that may be controlled like a light wave.

The report also contains an outline of opinions on the feasibility of different electrogravitics systems and there is reference to some of the barycentric control and electrostatic rigs in operation.

Also included is a list of references to electrogravitics in successive Aviation Reports since a drive was started by Aviation Studies (International) Limited to suggest to aviation business eighteen months ago that the rewards of success are too far-reaching to be overlooked, especially in view of the hopeful judgement of the most authoritative voice in micro- physics. Also listed are some relevant patents on electrostatics and electrostatic generators in the United States, United Kingdom and France.

Electrogravitics might be described as a synthesis of electrostatic energy used for propulsion - either vertical propulsion or horizontal or both - and gravitics, or dynamic counterbary, in which energy is also used to set up a local gravitational force independent of the earth's.

Electrostatic energy for propulsion has been predicted as a possible means of propulsion in space when the thrust from a neutron motor or ion motor would be sufficient in a dragless environment to produce astronomical velocities. But the ion motor is not strictly a part of the science of elctrogravitics, since barycentric control in an electrogravitics systems is envisaged for a vehicle operating within the earth's environment and it is not seen initially for space application. Probably large scale space operations would have to await the full development of electrogravitics to enable large pieces of equipment to be moved out of the region of the earth's strongest gravity effects.

So, though electrostatic motors were thought of in 1925, electrogravitics had its birth after the War, when Townsend Brown sought to improve on the various proposals that then existed for electrostatic motors sufficiently to produce some visible manifestation of sustained motion. Whereas earlier electrostatic tests were essentially pure research Brown's rigs were aimed from the outset at producing a flying article. As a private venture he produced evidence of motion using condensers in a couple of saucers suspended by arms rotating round a central tower with input running down the arms.

The massive-k situation was summarized subsequently in a report, Project Winterhaven, in 1952. Using the data some conclusions were arrived at that might be expected from ten or more years of intensive development - similar to that, for instance, applied to the turbine engine. Using a number of assumptions as to the nature of gravity, the report postulated a saucer as the basis of a possible interceptor with Mach 3 capability. Creation of a local gravitational system would confer upon the fighter the sharp-edged changes of direction typical of motion in space.

The essence of electrogravitics thrust is the use of a very strong positive charge on one side of the vehicle and a negative on the other. The core of the motor is a condenser and the ability of the condenser to hold its charge (the k-number) is the yardstick of performance. With air as 1, current dielectrical materials can yield 6 and use of barium aluminate can raise this considerably, barium titanium oxide (a baked ceramic) can offer 6,000 and there is promise of 30,000, which would be sufficient for supersonic speed.

The original Brown rig produced 30 fps on a voltage of around 50,000 and a small amount of current in the milliamp range. There was no detailed explanation of gravity in Project Winterhaven, but it was assumed that particle dualism in the subatomic structure of gravity would coincide in its effect with the issuing stream of electrons from the electrostatic energy source to produce counterbary. The Brown work probably remains a realistic approach to the practical realization of electrostatic propulsion and sustentation.

Whatever may be discovered by the Gravity Research Foundation of New Boston a complete understanding and synthetic reproduction of gravity is not essential for limited success. The electro- gravitics saucer can perform the function of a classic lifting surface - it produces a pushing effect on the under surface and a suction effect on the upper, but, unlike an airfoil, it does not require a flow of air to produce the effect.

First attempts at electrogravitics are unlikely to produce counterbary, but may lead to development of an electrostatic VTOL vehicle. Even in its development form this might be an advance on the molecular heat engine in its capabilities. But hopes in the new science depend on an understanding of the source and matter of gravity. It is fortuitous that lift can be produced in the traditional fashion and if an understanding of gravity remains beyond full practical control, electrostatic lift might be an adjunct of some significance to modern thrust producers.

Research into electrostatics could prove beneficial to turbine development, and heat engines in general, in view of the usable electron potential round the periphery of any flame. Materials for electrogravitics and especially the development of commercial quantities of high-k material is another dividend to be obtained from electrostatic research even if it produces no counterbary. This is a line of development that Aviation Studies' Gravity Research Group is following.

One of the interesting aspects of electrogravitics is that a breakthrough in almost any part of the broad front of general research on the intranuclear processes may be translated into a meaningful advance towards the feasibility of electrogravitics systems. This demands constant monitoring in the most likely areas of the physics of high energy sub-nuclear particles. It is difficult to be overoptimistic about the prospects of gaining so complete a grasp of gravity while the world's physicists are still engaged in a study of fundamental particles - that is to say those that cannot be broken down any more.

Fundamental particles are still being discovered - the most recent was the Segre-Chamberlain-Wiegand attachment to the bevatron, which was used to isolate the missing anti-proton, which must - or should be presumed to - exist according to Dirac's theory of the electron. Much of the accepted mathematics of particles would be wrong if the anti-proton was proved to be non-existent.

Earlier Eddington has listed the fundamental particles as:

  • e The charge of an electron.

  • m the mass of an electron.

  • M the mass of a proton.

  • h Planck's contant

  • c The velocity of light.

  • G The constant of gravitation, and

  • L The cosmological constant

It is generally held that no one of these can be inferred from the others.

But electrons may well disappear from among the fundamental particles, though, as Russell says, it is likely that e and m will survive. The constants are much more established than the interpretation of them and are among the most solid of achievements in modern physics.

Gravity may be defined as a small scale departure from Euclidean space in the general theory of relativity. The gravitational constant is one of four dimensionless constants: first, the mass relation of the nucleon and electron. Second is e2/hc, third, the Compton wavelength of the proton, and fourth is the gravitational constant, which is the ratio of the electrostatic to the gravitational attraction between the electron and the proton.

One of the stumbling blocks in electrogravitics is the absence of any satisfactory theory linking these four dimensionless quantities. Of the four, moreover, gravity is decidedly the most complex, since any explanation would have to satisfy both cosmic and quantum relations more acceptably and intelligibly even than in the unified field theory. A gravitational constant of around 10-30 has emerged from quantum research and this has been used as a tool for finding theories that could link the two relations.

This work is now in full progress, and developments have to be watched for the aviation angle. Hitherto Dirac, Eddington, Jordan and others have produced differences in theory that are too wide to be accepted as consistent. It means therefore that (i) without a cosmological basis, and (ii) with an imprecise quantum basis and (iii) a vague hypothesis on the interaction, much remains still to be discovered. Indeed some say that a single interacting theory to link up the dimensionless constants is one of three major unresolved basic problems of physics. The other two main problems are the extension of quantum theory and a more detailed knowledge of the fundamental particles.

All this is some distance from Newton, who saw gravity as a force acting on a body from a distance, leading to the tendency of bodies to accelerate towards each other. He allied this assumption with Euclidean geometry, and time was assumed as uniform and acted independently of space. Bodies and particles in space normally moved uniformly in straight lines according to Newton, and to account for the way they sometimes do not do so, he used the idea of a force of gravity acting at a distance, in which particles of matter cause in others an acceleration proportional to their mass, and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

But Einstein showed how the principle of least action, or the so-called cosmic laziness means that particles, on the contrary, follow the easiest path along geodesic lines and as a result they get readily absorbed into space-time. So was born non-linear physics. The classic example of non-linear physics is the experiment in bombarding a screen with two slits. When both slits are open particles going through are not the sum of the two individually but follows a non-linear equation.

This leads on to wave-particle dualism and that in turn to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle in which an increase in accuracy in measurement of one physical quantity means decreasing accuracy in measuring the other. If time is measured accurately energy calculations will be in error; the more accurate the position of a particle is established the less certain the velocity will be; and so on. This basic principle of the acausality of microphysics affects the study of gravity in the special and general theories of relativity. Lack of pictoral image in the quantum physics of this interrelationship is a difficulty at the outset for those whose minds remain obstinately Euclidean.

In the special theory of relativity, space-time is seen only as an undefined interval which can be defined in any way that is convenient and the Newtonian idea of persistent particles in motion to explain gravity cannot be accepted. It must be seen rather as a synthesis of forces in a four dimensional continuum, three to establish the position and one the time. The general theory of relativity that followed a decade later was a geometrical explanation of gravitation in which bodies take the geodesic path through space-time. In turn this means that instead of the idea of a force acting at a distance it is assumed that space, time, radiation and particles are linked and variations in them from gravity are due rather to the nature of space.

Thus gravity of a body such as the earth, instead of pulling object towards it as Newton postulated, is adjusting the characteristics of space and, it may be inferred, the quantum mechanics of space in the vicinity of the gravitational force. Electrogravitics aims at correcting this adjustment to put matter, so to speak, 'at rest'.

One of the difficulties in 1954 and 1955 was to get aviation to take electrogravitics seriously. The name alone was enough to put people off. However, in the trade much progress has been made and now most major companies in the United States are interested in counterbary. Groups are being organised to study electrostatic and electromagnetic phenomena. Most of industry's leaders have made some reference to it. Douglas has now stated that it has counterbary on its work agenda but does not expect results yet awhile.

Hiller has referred to new forms of flying platform, Glenn Martin say gravity control could be achieved in six years, but they add that it would entail a Manhattan District type of effort to bring it about. Sikorsky, one of the pioneers, more or less agrees with the Douglas verdict and says that gravity is tangible and formidable, but there must be a physical carrier for this immense trans-spatial force. This implies that where a physical manifestation exists, a physical device and be developed for creating a similar force moving in the opposite direction to cancel it. Clarke Electronics state they have a rig, and add that in their view the source of gravity's force will be understood sooner than some people think.

General Electric is working on the use of electronic rigs designed to make adjustments to gravity - this line of attack has the advantage of using rigs already in existence for other defence work. Bell also has an experimental rig intended, as the company puts it, to cancel out gravity, and Lawrence Bell has said he is convinced that practical hardware will emerge from current programs.

Grover Leoning is certain that what he referred to as an electro-magnetic contra-gravity mechanism will be developed for practical use. Convair is extensively committed to the work with several rigs. Lear Inc., autopilot and electronic engineers have a division of the company working on gravity research and so also has the Sperry division of Sperry-Rand. This list embraces most of the U.S. aircraft industry. The remainder, Curtiss-Wright, Lockheed, Boeing and North American have not yet declared themselves, but all these four are known to be in various stages of study with and without rigs.

In addition, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is working on gravity, the Gravity Research Foundation of New Boston, the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, the CalTech Radiation Laboratory, Princeton University and the University of North Carolina are all active in gravity.

Glenn L. Martin is setting up a Research Institute for Advanced Study which has a small staff working on gravity research with the unified field theory and this group is committed to extensive programs of applied research. Many others are also known to be studying gravity, some are known also to be planning a general expansion in this field, such as the proposed Institute for Pure Physics at the University of North Carolina.

A certain amount of work is also going on in Europe. One of the French nationalized constructors and one company outside the nationalized elements have been making preliminary studies, and a little company money has in one case actually been committed. Some work is also going on in Britain where rigs are now in existence. Most of it is private tenure work, such as that being done by Ed Hull, a colleague of Townsend Brown who, as much as anybody, introduced Europe to electrogravitics. Aviation Studies' Gravity Research Group is doing some work, mainly on k studies, and is sponsoring dielectric investigations.

One Swedish company and two Canadian companies have been making studies, and quite recently the Germans have woken up to the possibilities. Several of the companies have started digging out some of the early German papers on wave physics. They are almost certain to plan a gravitics program. Curiously enough the Germans during the war paid no attention to electrogravitics.

This is one line of advance that they did not pioneer in any way and is still basically a U.S. creation. Townsend Brown in electrogravitics is the equivalent of Frank Whittle in gas turbines. This German overlooking of electrostatics is even more surprising when it is remembered how astonishingly advanced and prescient the Germans were in nuclear research. (The modern theory of making thermonuclear weapons without plutonium fission initiators returns to the original German idea that was dismissed, even ridiculed. The Germans never went very far with fission, indeed they doubted that this chain would ever be made to work.)

The German air industry, still in the embryo stage, has included electrogravitics among the subjects it intends to examine when establishing the policy that the individual companies will adopt after the present early stage of foreign licence has enabled industry to get abreast of the other countries in aircraft development.

It is impossible to read through this summary of the widening efforts being made to understand the nature of matter of gravity without sharing the hope that many groups now have, of major theoretical breakthroughs occurring before very long. Experience in nucleonics has shown that when attempts to win knowledge on this scale are made, advances are soon seen. There are a number of elements in industry, and some managements, who see gravity as a problem for later generations.

Many see nothing in it all and they might be right. But as said earlier, if Dr. Vaclav Hlavaty thinks gravity is potentially controllable that surely should be justification enough, and indeed inspiration, for physicists to apply their minds and for management to take a risk. Hlavaty is the only man who thinks he can see a way of doing the mathematics to demonstrate Einstein's unified field theory - something that Einstein himself said was beyond him.

Relativity and the unified field theory go to the root of electrogravitics and the shifts in thinking, the hopes and fears, and a measure of progress is to be obtained only in the last resort from men of this stature.

Major theoretical breakthroughs to discover the sources of gravity will be made by the most advanced intellects using the most advanced research tools. Aviation's role is therefore to impress upon physicists of this calibre with the urgency of the matter and to aid them with statistical and peripheral investigations that will help to clarify the background to the central mathematics and physical puzzles.

Aviation could also assist by recruiting some of these men as advisers. Convair has taken the initiative with its recently established panel of advisers on nuclear projects, which include Dr. Edward Teller of the University of California. At the same time much can be done in development of laboratory rigs, condenser research and dielectric development, which do not require anything like the same cerebral capacity to get results and make a practical contribution.

As gravity is likely to be linked with the new particles, only the highest powered particle accelerators are likely to be of use in further fundamental knowledge. The country with the biggest tools of this kind is in the best position to examine the characteristics of the particles and from these countries the greatest advances seem most likely.

Though the United States has the biggest of the bevatrons - the Berkeley bevatron is 6.2 bev - the Russians have a 10 bev accelerator in construction which, when it is completed, will be the world's largest. At Brookhaven a 25 bev instrument is in development which, in turn, will be the biggest. Other countries without comparable facilities are of course at a great disadvantage from the outset in the contest to discover the explanations of gravity. Electrogravitics, moreover, unfortunately competes with nuclear studies for its facilities.

The clearest thinking brains are bound to be attracted to locations where the most extensive laboratory equipment exists. So, one way and another, results are most likely to come from the major countries with the biggest undertakings. Thus the nuclear facilities have a direct bearing on the scope for electrogravitics work.

The OEEC report in January made the following points:

  • The U.S. has six to eight entirely different types of reactor in operation and many more under construction. Europe has now two different types in service.

  • The U.S. has about 30 research reactors plus four in Britain, two in France.

  • The U.S. has two nuclear-powered marine engines. Europe has none, but the U.K. is building one.

  • Isotope separation plants for the enrichment of uranium in the U.S. are roughly 11 times larger than the European plant in Britain.

  • Europe's only heavy water plant (in Norway) produces somewhat less than one-twentieth of American output.

In 1955 the number of technicians employed in nuclear energy work in the U.S. was about 15,000; there are about 5,000 in Britain, 1,800 in France, and about 1,000 in the rest of Europe.

But the working party says that pessimistic conclusions should not be drawn from these comparisons. European nuclear energy effort is evenly divided at the moment, but some countries have notable achievements to their credit and important developments in prospect. The main reason for optimism is that, taken as a whole, "Europe's present nuclear effort falls very far short of its industrial potential".

Though gravity research, such as there has been of it, has been unclassified, new principles and information gained from the nuclear research facilities that have a vehicle application is expected to be withheld.

The heart of the problem to understanding gravity is likely to prove to be the way in which the very high energy sub-nuclear particles convert something, whatever it is, continuously and automatically into the tremendous nuclear and electromagnetic forces. Once this key is understood, attention can later be directed to finding laboratory means of duplicating the process and reversing its force lines in some local environment and returning the energy to itself to produce counterbary.

Looking beyond it seems possible that gravitation will be shown to be a part of the universal electro-magnetic processes and controlled in the same way as a light wave or radio wave. This is a synthesis of the Einstein and Hlavaty concepts. Hence it follows that though in its initial form the mechanical processes for countering gravity may initially be massive to deal with the massive forces involved, eventually this could be expected to form some central power generation unit. Barycentric control in some required quantity could be passed over a distance by a form of radio wave. The prime energy source to energise the waves would of course be nuclear in its origins.

It is difficult to say which lines of detailed development being processed in the immediate future is more likely to yield significant results. Perhaps the three most promising are: first, the new attempt by the team of men led by Chamberlain working with the Berkeley bevatron to find the anti-neutron, and to identify more of the characteristics of the anti-proton* and each of the string of high energy particles that have been discovered during recent operations at 6.2 bev.

A second line of approach is the United States National Bureau of Standards program to pin down with greater accuracy the acceleration values of gravity. The presently accepted figure *(The reaction is as follows: protons are accelerated to 6.2 bev, and directed at a target of copper. When the proton projectile hits a neutron in one of the copper atoms the following emerge: the two original particles (the projectile and the struck neutron) and a new pair of particles, a proton and anti-proton.

The anti-proton continues briefly until it hits another proton, then both disappear and decay into mesons) of 32.174 feet per second per second is known to be not comprehensive, though it has been sufficiently accurate for the limited needs of industry hitherto. The NBS program aims at re-determining the strength of gravity to within one part of a million. The present method thas been to hold a ball 16 feet up and chart the elapsed time of descent with electronic measuring equipment. The new program is based on the old, but with this exceptional degree of accuracy it is naturally immensely more difficult and is expected to take 3 years.

A third promising line is the new technique of measuring high energy particles in motion that was started by the University of California last year. This involves passing cosmic rays through a chamber containing a mixture of gas, alcohol and water vapour. This creates charged atoms, or positive ions, by knocking electrons off the gas molecules. A sudden expansion of the chamber results in a condensation of water droplets along the track which can be plotted on a photographic plate.

This method makes it easier to assess the energy of particles and to distinguish one from the other. It also helps to establish the characteristics of the different types of particles. The relationship between these high energy particles, and their origin, and characteristics, have a bearing on electrogravitics in general.

So much of what has to be discovered as a necessary preliminary to gravity is of no practical use by itself. There is no conceivable use, for instance, for the anti-proton, yet its discovery even at a cost of $9-million is essential to check the mathematics of the fundamental components of matter. Similarly it is necessary to check that all the nuclear ghosts that have been postulated theoretically do in fact exist. It is not, moreover, sufficient, as in the past, only to observe the particles by radiation counters. In each instance a mechanical maze has to be devised and attached to a particle accelerator to trap only the particle concerned. Each discovery becomes a wedge for a deeper probe of the nucleus.

Many of the particles of very high energy have only a fleeting existence and collisions that give rise to them from bevatron bombardment is a necessary pre- requisite to an understanding of gravity. There are no shortcuts to this process.

Most of the major programs for extending human knowledge on gravity are being conducted with instruments already in use for nuclear research and to this extent the cost of work exclusively on gravitational examinations is still not of major proportions. This has made it difficult for aviation to gauge the extent of the work in progress on gravity research.

 

CONCLUSIONS

1. No attempts to control the magnitude or direction of the earth's gravitational force have yet been successful. But if the explanation of gravity is to be found in the as yet undetermined characteristics of the very high energy particles it is becoming increasingly possible with the bevatron to work with the constituent matter of gravity. It is therefore reasonable to expect that the new bevatron may, before long, be used to demonstrate limited gravitational control.

2. An understanding and identification of these particles is on the frontiers of human knowledge, and a full assessment of them is one of the major unresolved puzzles of the nucleus. An associated problem is to discover a theory to account for the cosmic and quantum relations of gravity, and a theory to link the gravitational constant with the other three dimensionless constants.

3. Though the obstacles to an adequate grasp of microphysics still seem formidable, the transportation rewards that could follow from electrogravitics are as high as can be envisaged. In a weightless environment, movement with sharp-edged changes of direction could offer unique manoeuvrability.

4. Determination of the environment of the anti-proton, discovery of the anti-neutron and closer examination of the other high energy particles are preliminaries to the hypothesis that gravity is one aspect of electromagnetism that may eventually be controlled like a wave. When the structure of the nucleus becomes clearer, the influence of the gravitational force upon the nucleus and the nature of its behavior in space will be more readily understood. This is a great advance on the Newtonian concept of gravity acting at a distance.

5. Aviation's role appears to be to establish facilities to handle many of the peripheral and statistical investigations to help fill in the background on electrostatics.

6. A distinction has to be made between electrostatic energy for propulsion and counterbary. Counterbary is the manipulation of gravitational force lines; barycentric control is the adjustment to such manipulative capability to produce a stable type of motion suitable for transportation.

7. Electrostatic energy sufficient to produce low speeds (a few thousand dynes) has already been demonstrated. Generation of a region of positive electrostatic energy on one side of a plate and negative on the other sets up the same lift or propulsion effect as the pressure and suction below and above a wing, except that in the case of electrostatic application no airflow is necessary.

8. Electrostatic energy sufficient to produce a Mach 3 fighter is possible with megavolt energies and a k of over 10,000.

9. k figures of 6,000 have been obtained from some ceramic materials and there are prospects of 30,000.

10. Apart from electrogravitics there are other rewards from investment in electrostatic equipment. Automation, autonetics and even turbine development use similar laboratory facilities.

11. Progress in electrogravitics probably awaits a new genius in physics who can find a single equation to tie up all the conflicting observations and theory on the structure and arrangement of forces and the part the high energy particles play in the nucleus. This can occur any time, and the chances are improved now that bev energies are being obtained in controlled laboratory conditions.

 

APPENDIX I

EXTRACTS FROM AVIATION REPORT

ANTI-GRAVITATION RESEARCH

The basic research and technology behind electro-anti-gravitation is so much in its infancy that this is perhaps one field of development where not only the methods but the ideas are secret. Nothing therefore can be discussed freely at the moment. Very few papers on the subject have been prepared so far, and the only schemes that have seen the light of day are for pure research into rigs designed to make objects float around freely in a box.

There are various radio applications, and aviation medicine departments have been looking for something that will enable them to study the physiological effects on the digestion and organs of an environment without gravity. There are however long term aims of a more revolutionary nature that envisage equipment that can defeat gravity.

MANAGERIAL POLICY FOR ANTI-GRAVITICS

The prospect of engineers devising gravity-defeating equipment - or perhaps it should be described as the creation of pockets of weightless environments - does suggest that as a long term policy aircraft constructors will be required to place even more emphasis on electro-mechanical industrial plant, than is now required for the transition from manned to unmanned weapons.

Anti-gravitics work is therefore likely to go to companies with the biggest electrical laboratories and facilities. It is also apparent that anti-gravitics, like other advanced sciences, will be initially sponsored for its weapon capabilities. There are perhaps two broad ways of using the science, one is to postulate the design of advanced type projectiles on their best inherent capabilities, and the more critical parameters (that now constitutes the design limitation) can be eliminated by anti-gravitics.

The other, which is a longer term plan, is to create an entirely new environment with devices operating entirely under an anti-gravitic envelope.

THE GREATER THE EASIER

Propulsion and atomic energy trends are similar in one respect: the more incredible the long term capabilities are, the easier it is to attain them. It is strange that the greatest of nature's secrets can be harnessed with decreasing industrial effort, but greatly increasing mental effort. The Americans went through the industrial torture to produce tritium for the first thermonuclear experiment, but later both they and the Russians were able to achieve much greater results with the help of lithium 6 hydride.

The same thing is happening in aviation propulsion; the nuclear fuels are promising to be tremendously powerful in their effect, but excessively complicated in their application, unless there can be some means of direct conversion as in the strontium 90 cell. But lying behind and beyond the nuclear fuels is the linking of electricity to gravity, which is an incomparably more powerful way of harnessing energy than the only method known to human intellect at present - electricity and magnetism. Perhaps the magic of barium aluminum oxide will perform the miracle in propulsion that lithium 6 hydride has done in the fusion weapon. Certainly it is a well-known material in dielectrics, but when one talks of massive-k, one means of course five figures.

At this early stage it is difficult to relate k to Mach numbers with any certainty, but realizable k can, with some kinds of arithmetic, produce astounding velocities. They are achievable, moreover, with decreasing complexity, indeed the ultimate becomes the easiest in term of engineering, but the most hideous in terms of theory. Einstein's general theory of relativity is, naturally, and important factor, but some of the postulates appear to depend on the unified field theory, which cannot yet be physically checked because no one knows how to do it. Einstein hopes to find a way of doing this before he dies.

GRAVITICS FORMULATIONS

All indications are that there has still been little cognizance of the potentialities of electrostatic propulsion and it will be a major undertaking to re-arrange aircraft plants to conduct large-scale research and development into novel forms of dielectric and to improve condenser efficiencies and to develop the novel type of materials used for fabrication of the primary structure. Some extremely ambitious theoretical programs have been submitted and work towards realization of a manned vehicle has begun.

One the evidence, there are far more definite indications that the incredible claims are realizable than there was, for instance, in supposing that uranium fission would result in a bomb. At least it is known, proof positive, that motion, using surprisingly low k, is possible. The fantastic control that again is feasible, has not yet been demonstrated, but there is no reason to suppose the arithmetic is faulty, especially as it has already led to a quite brisk example of actual propulsion. That first movement was indeed an historic occasion, reminiscent of the momentous day at Chicago when the first pile went critical, and the phenomenon was scarcely less weird. It is difficult to imagine just where a well-organized examination into long term gravitics would end.

Though a circular platform is electrostatically convenient, it does not necessarily follow that the requirements of control by differential changes would be the same. Perhaps the strangest part of this whole chapter is how the public managed to foresee the concept, though not of course the theoretical principles that gave rise to it, before physical tests confirmed that the mathematics was right. It is interesting also that there is no point of contact between the conventional science of aviation and the New: it is a radical offshoot with no common principles.

Aerodynamics, structures, heat engines, flapping controls, and all the rest of aviation is part of what might be called the Wright Brothers era, even the Mach 2.5 thermal barrier piercers are still Wright Brothers concepts, in the sense that they fly and they stall, and they run out of fuel after a short while, and they defy the earth's pull for a short while. Thus this century will be divided into two parts - almost to the day. The first half belonged to the Wright Brothers who foresaw nearly all the basic issues in which gravity was the bitter foe. In part of the second half, gravity will be the great provider. Electrical energy, rather irrelevant for propulsion in the first half becomes a kind of catalyst to motion in the second half of the century.

ELECTRO-GRAVITICS PARADOX

Realization of electro-static propulsion seems to depend on two theoretical twists and two practical ones. The two theoretical puzzles are: first, how to make a condenser the centre of a propulsion system, and the second is how to link the condenser system with the gravitational field. There is a third problem, but it is some way off yet, which is how to manipulate kva for control in all three axes as well as for propulsion and lift.

The two practical tricks are first how, with say a Mach 3 weapon in mind, to handle a 50,000 kva within the envelope of a thin pancake of 35 feet in diameter and second how to generate such power from within so small a space. The electrical power in a small aircraft is more than a fair sized community the analogy being that a single rocketjet can provide as much power as can be obtained from the Hoover Dam. It will naturally take as long to develop electro-static propulsion as it has taken to coax the enormous power outputs from heat engines. True there might be flame in the electro-gravitic propulsion system, but it would not be a heat engine - the temperature of the flame would be incidental to the function of the chemical burning process.

The curious thing is that though electro-static propulsion is the antithesis of magnetism,* Einstein's unified field theory is an attempt to link gravitation with electro-magnetism. This all-embracing theory goes on logically from the general theory of relativity, that gives an ingenious geometrical interpretation of the concept of force which is mathematically consistent with gravitation but fails in the case of electro-magnetism, while the special theory of relativity is concerned with the relationship between mass and energy.

The general theory of relativity fails to account for the electro-magnetism because the forces are proportional to the charge and not to the mass. The unified field theory is one of a number of attempts that have been made to bridge this gap, but it is baffling to imagine how it could ever be observed. Einstein himself thinks it is virtually impossible. However, Hlavaty claims to have solved the equations by assuming that gravitation is a manifestation of electro-magnetism.

This being so it is all the more incredible that electro-static *(Though in a sense this is true, it is better expressed in the body of this report than it was here in 1954) propulsion (with kva for convenience fed into the system and not self-generated) has actually been demonstrated. It may be that to apply all this very abstruse physics to aviation it will be necessary to accept that the theory is more important than this or that interpretation of it.

This is how the physical constants, which are now regarded as among the most solid of achievements in modern physics, have become workable, and accepted. Certainly all normal instincts would support the Einstein series of postulations, and if this is so it is a matter of conjecture where it will lead in the long term future of the electro-gravitic science.

ELECTRO-GRAVITIC PROPULSION SITUATION

Under the terms of Project Winterhaven the proposals to develop electro-gravitics to the point of realizing a Mach 3 combat type of disc were not far short of the extensive effort that was planned for the Manhattan District.*

Indeed the drive to develop the prime mover is in some respects rather similar to the experiments that led to the release of nuclear energy in the sense that both involve fantastic mathematical capacity and both are sciences so new that other allied sciences cannot be of very much guide. In the past two years since the principle of motion by means of massive-k was first demonstrated on a test rig, progress has been slow.

But the indications are now that the Pentagon is ready to sponsor a range of devices to help further the knowledge. In effect the new family of TVs would be on the same tremendous scope that was envisaged by the X-1,2,3,4 and 5 and the D.558s that were all created for the purpose of destroying the sound barrier - which they effectively did, but it is a process that is taking ten solid years of hard work to complete. (Now after 7 years the X-2 has yet to start its tests and the X-3 is still in performance testing stage). Tentative targets ... anticipate that the first disc should be complete before 1960 and it would take the whole of the sixties to develop it properly, even though some combat things might be available ten years from now.

One thing seems certain at this stage, that the companies likely to dominate the science will be those with the biggest *(The proposals, it should be added, were not accepted) computors to work out the ramifications of the basic theory. Douglas is easily the world's leader in computor capacity, followed by Lockheed and Convair. The frame incidentally is indivisible from the engine. If there is to ba any division of responsibility it would be that the engine industry might become responsible for providing the electrostatic energy (by, it is thought, a kind of flame) and the frame maker for the condenser assembly which is the core of the main structure.

GRAVITICS STUDY WIDENING

The French are now understood to be pondering the most effective way of entering the field of electro-gravitic propulsion systems. But not the least of the difficulties is to know just where to begin. There are practically no patents so far that throw very much light on the mathematics of the relation between electricity and gravity. There is, of course, a large number of patents on the general subject of motion and force, and some of these may prove to have some application.

There is, however, a series of working postulations embodied in the original Project Winterhaven, but no real attempt has been made in the working papers to go into the detailed engineering. All that had actually been achieved up to just under a year ago was a series of fairly accurate extrapolations from the sketchy data that has so far been actually observed. The extrapolation of 50 mph to 1,800 mph, however, (which is what the present hopes and aspirations amount to) is bound to be a rather vague exercise.

This explains American private views that nothing can be reasonably expected from the science for yet awhile. Meanwhile, the NACA is active, and nearly all of the Universities are doing work that borders close to what is involved here, and something fruitful is likely to turn up before very long.

GRAVITIC STEPS

Specification writers seem to be still rather stumped to know what to ask for in the very hazy science of electro-gravitic propelled vehicles. They are at present faced with having to plan the first family of things - first of these is the most realistic type of operational test rig, and the second the first type of test vehicle. In turn this would lead to sponsoring of a combat disc.

The preliminary test rigs which gave only feeble propulsion have been somewhat improved, but of course the speeds reached so far are only those more associated with what is attained on the road rather than in the air. But propulsion is now known to be possible, as it is a matter of feeding enough KVA into condensers with better k figures. 50,000 is a magic figure for the combat saucer, it the is the amount of KVA and this amount of k that can be translated into Mach 3 speeds.

Meanwhile Glenn Martin now feels ready to say in public that they are examining the unified field theory to see what can be done. It would probably be truer to say that Martin and other companies are now looking for men who can make some kind of sense out of Einstein's equations. There's nobody in the air industry at present with the faintest idea of what it is all about. Also, just as necessary, companies have somehow to find administrators who know enough of the mathematics to be able to guess what kind of industrial investment is likely to be necessary for the company to secure the most rewarding prime contracts in the new science.

This again is not so easy since much of the mathematics just cannot be translated into words. You either understand the figures, or you cannot ever have it explained to you. This is rather new because even things like indeterminacy in quantum mechanics can be more or less put into words.

Perhaps the main thing for management to bear in mind in recruiting men is that essentially electro-gravitics is a branch of wave technology and much of it starts with Planck's dimensions of action, energy and time, and some if this is among the most firm and least controversial sections of modern atomic physics.

ELECTRO-GRAVITICS PUZZLE

Back in 1948 and 49, the public in the U.S. had a surprisingly clear idea of what a flying saucer should, or could, do. There has never at any time been any realistic explanation of what propulsion agency could make it do those things, but its ability to move within its own gravitation field was presupposed from its manoeuvrability.

Yet all this was at least two years before electro-static energy was shown to produce propulsion. It is curious that the public were so ahead of the empiricists on this occasion, and there are two possible explanations. One is that optical illusions or atmospheric phenomena offered a preconceived idea of how the ultimate aviation device ought to work. The other explanation might be that this was a recrudescence of Jung's theory of the Universal Mind which move up and down in relation to the capabilities of the highest intellects and this may be a case of it reaching a very high peak of perception.

But for the air industries to realize an electro-gravitic aircraft means a return to basic principles in nuclear physics, and a re-examination of much in wave technology that has hitherto been taken for granted. Anything that goes any way towards proving the unified field theory will have as great a bearing on electro-gravitics efforts as on the furtherance of nuclear power generally.

But the aircraft industry might as well face up to the fact that priorities will in the end be competing with existing nuclear science commitments. The fact that electro-gravitics has important applications other than for a weapon will however strengthen the case for governments to get in on the work going on.

MANAGEMENT NOTE FOR ELECTRO-GRAVITICS

The gas turbine engine produced two new companies in the U.S. engine field and they have, between them, at various times offered the traditional primes rather formidable competition. Indeed GE at this moment has, in the view of some, taken the Number Two position. In Britain no new firms managed to get a footing, but one, Metro-Vick, might have done if it had put its whole energies into the business. It is on the whole unfortunate for Britain that no bright newcomer has been able to screw up competition in the engine field as English Electric have done in the airframe business.

Unlike the turbine engine, electro-gravitics is not just a new propulsion system, it is a new mode of thought in aviation and communications, and it is something that may become all-embracing. Theoretical studies of the science unfortunately have to extend right down to the mathematics of the meson and there is no escape from that. But the relevant facts wrung from the nature of the nuclear structure will have their impact on the propulsion system, the airframe and also its guidance.

The airframe, as such, would not exist, and what is now a complicated stressed structure becomes some convenient form of hard envelope. New companies therefore who would like to see themselves as major defence prime contractors in ten or fifteen years time are the ones most likely to stimulate development. Several typical companies in Britain and the U.S. come to mind - outfits like AiResearch, Raytheon, Plessey in England, Rotex and others. But the companies have to face a decade of costly research into theoretical physics and it means a great deal of trust.

Companies are mostly overloaded already and they cannot afford it, but when they sit down and think about the matter they can scarcely avoid the conclusion that they cannot afford not to be in at the beginning.

ELECTRO-GRAVITICS BREAKTHROUGHS

Lawrence Bell said last week that he thought that the tempo of development leading to the use of nuclear fuels and anti-gravitational vehicles (he meant presumably ones that create their own gravitational field independently of the earth's) would accelerate. He added that the breakthroughs now feasible will advance their introduction ahead of the time it has taken to develop the turbojet to its present pitch.

Beyond the thermal barrier was a radiation barrier, and he might have added ozone poisoning and meteorite hazards, and beyond that again a time barrier. Time however is not a single calculable entity and Einstein has taught that an absolute barrier to aviation is the environmental barrier in which there are physical limits to any kind of movement from one point in space-time continuum to another. Bell (the company not the man) have a reputation as 30- experimentalists and are not so earthy as some of the other U.S. companies; so while this first judgment on progress with electrogravitics is interesting, further word is awaited from the other major elements of the air business.

Most of the companies are now studying several forms of propulsion without heat engines though it is early days yet to determine which method will see the light of day first. Procurement will open out because the capabilities of such aircraft are immeasurably greater than those envisaged with any known form of engine.

THERMONUCLEAR-ELECTROGRAVITICS INTERACTION

The point has been made that the most likely way of achieving the comparatively low fusion heat needed - 1,000,000 degrees provided it can be sustained (which it cannot be in fission for more than a microsecond or two at a time) - is by use of a linear accelerator. The concentration of energy that may be obtained when accelerators are rigged in certain ways make the production of very high temperatures feasible but whether they could be concentrated enough to avoid a thermal heat problem remains to be seen.

It has also been suggested that linear accelerators would be the way to develop the high electrical energies needed for creation of local gravitation systems. It is possible therefore to imagine that the central core of a future air vehicle might be a linear accelerator which would create a local weightless state by use of electrostatic energy and turn heat into energy without chemical processes for propulsion.

Eventually - towards the end of this century - the linear accelerator itself would not be required and a ground generating plant would transmit the necessary energy for both purposes by wave propagation.

POINT ABOUT THERMONUCLEAR REACTION REACTORS

The 20 year estimate bye the AEC last week that lies between present research frontiers and the fusion reactor probably refers to the time it will take to tap fusion heat. But it may be thought that rather than use the molecular and chemical processes of twisting heat into thrust, it would be more appropriate to use the new heat source in conjunction with some form of nuclear thrust producer which would be in the form of electrostatic energy.

The first two Boeing nuclear jet prototypes now under way are being designed to take either molecular jets or nuclear jets in cse the latter are held up for one reason or another. But the change from molecular to direct nuclear thrust production in conjunction with the thermonuclear reactor is likely to make the aircraft designed around the latter a totally different breed of cat. It is also expected to take longer than two decades, though younger executives in trade might expect to live to see a prototype.

ELECTROGRAVITICS FEASIBILITY

Opinion on the prospects of using electrostatic energy for propulsion, and eventually for creation of a local gravitational field isolated from the earth's has naturally polarized into the two opposite extremes. There are those who say it is nonsense from start to finish, and those who are satisfied from performance already physically manifest that it is possible and will produce air vehicles with absolute capabilities and no moving parts.

The feasibility of a Mach 3 fighter (the present aim of studies) is dependent on a rather large k extrapolation, considering the pair of saucers that have physically demonstrated the principle only achieved a speed of some 30 fps. But, and this is important, they have attained a working velocity using a very inefficient (even by today's knowledge) form of condenser complex. These humble beginnings are surely as hopeful as Whittle's early postulations.

It was, by the way, largely due to the early references in Aviation report that this work is gathering momentum in the U.S. Similar studies are beginning in France, and in England some men are on the job full time.

ELECTRO-GRAVITICS EFFORT WIDENING

Companies studying the implications of gravitics are said, in a new statement, to include Glenn Martin, Convair, Sperry-Rand, Sikorsky, Bell, Lear Inc. and Clark Electronics. Other companies who have previously evinced interest include Lockheed, Douglas and Hiller. The remainder are not disinterested, but have not given public support to the new science - which is widening all the time.

The approach in the U.S. is in a sense more ambitious than might have been expected. The logical approach, which has been suggested by Aviation Studies, is to concentrate on improving the output of electrostatic rigs in existence that are know to be able to provide thrust. The aim would be to concentrate on electrostatics for propulsion first and widen the practical engineering to include establishment of local field forcelines, independent of those of the earth's, to provide unfettered vertical movement as and when the mathematics develops.

However, the U.S. approach is rather to put money into fundamental theoretical physics of gravitation in an effort first to create the local gravitational field. Working rigs would follow in the wake of the basic discoveries. Probably the correct course would be to sponsor both approaches, and it is now time that the military stepped in with big funds.

The trouble about the idealistic approach to gravity is that the aircraft companies do not have the men to conduct such work. There is every expectation in any case that the companies likely to find the answers lie outside the aviation field. These would emerge as the masters of aviation in its broadest sense.

The feeling is therefore that a company like A.T. & T. is most likely to be first in this field. This giant company (unknown in the air and weapons field) has already revolutionized modern warfare with the development of the junction transistor and is expected to find the final answers to absolute vehicle levitation. This therefore is where the bulk of the sponsoring money should go.

Experimental Evidence


A number of experiments have demonstrated antigravity effects.
The most notable of these, because of it's rigor and level of detail, is the Roschin & Godin device [1], itself a modified version of the Searl SEG machine [2].
It consists of sets of rapidly rotating magnets that have shown to significantly reduce the weight of the whole apparatus.
The self rotating magnets have to be slowed down to prevent a runaway situation occurring which would cause the device to fly into the air were it not for the fact that the centrifugal forces would damage the device.
Also, electromagnetic and temperature anomalies have been observed when the device is in operation.

Another example of rotating magnetic fields producing anti-gravitational effects is the Hamel device [3]. It consists of two counter rotating wheels of magnets stacked three levels high.
This is also reported to be a self spinning device which if allowed to rotate freely speeds up until it reaches a point where the whole unit shoots up into the air.
At the same time producing electromagnetic anomalies.

Another interesting gravity shielding effect was demonstrated by Eugene Podkletnov's rapidly rotating superconducting disk [4].
When the disk is spun at some 7000 rpm in the presence of an external magnetic field anything situated above the disk loses weight.

However, weight reduction has also been observed with simple rotation of objects.
Hideo Hayasaka and Sakeo Takeuchi have reported a weight reduction in rapidly rotating gyroscopes [5]. Interestingly the weight reduction occurs only for clockwise rotation.

It would seem that the strongest effects are produced by rotating magnetic fields.
This would make sense based on our aether model which assumes magnetic fields to be movements of the aether. Thus for a rotating magnet we would have a combination of two movements of the aether giving a more dynamic motion.

There have also been a number of experiments involving high voltages that have shown weight reduction, among other unusual effects.
A good example of this is the Townsend Brown gravitor [6].
Another is the work of John Hutchison who has demonstrated objects being raised into the air by using a combination of high voltages and radio frequency beams [8].



4D waves, Rotation, Magnetism and Antigravity


How do we explain these effects from the perspective of the aether model?
One of the more interesting clues in the above examples is that only clockwise rotation produces a weight loss.
The Roschin-Godin device clearly shows that a clockwise rotation produces a weight reduction and an anti-clockwise rotation a weight gain! Why should this be?
Standard theories are unable explain this difference.

According to the aether model presented here rotation generates an aether vortex into the 4th dimension (see Inertia). Given that gravity according to this model is essentially a 4D wave phenomenon it suggests that left/right spin difference is a 4th dimensional effect.
The most obvious variable of the 4th dimension is the direction of aether flow, negative to positive or vice versa along the 4D axis.
Therefore it is plausible that a clockwise rotation makes the aether flow in one direction along 4D and anti-clockwise in the opposite direction along 4D. Thereby producing opposite effects for the two spin directions.
There are a couple of ways in which an aether flow into the fourth dimension could cause a reduction in gravitational force.

The first involves the shift of 4D nodes that results from the aether movement.
Given that the aether is the carrier of the 4D waves a strong flow of aether will cause a phase shift in the wave fronts and therefore the pattern of high and low nodes of vibration.
It is conceivable that the aether flow would cause the gravitational nodes discussed in the first section to drift at a different rate towards the planetary body, and therefore to change the force of gravity. The nodes might not only slow down but be shifted sideways changing the force again.
Note that the force of gravity does not need to be completely cancelled in order for an object to be lifted into the air.
There is always present the centrifugal force due to the earth's rotation which is overshadowed by the stronger gravitational force. One need only reduce the gravitational influence below that of the centrifugal force and the slingshot action of the rotating earth will shoot an object into the air.
More generally, if a way could be found to manipulate the nodes one could maneuver a craft at high speed. That is, the craft could be accelerated or have it's direction changed without the occupants feeling any inertial forces. In the same way that a free falling object moving with the gravitational nodes will not experience any force even though it is accelerating.
Viewed from this perspective the stories one hears of UFO craft making rapid 90 degree turns don't seem so improbable.

One possible way of manipulating these nodes is through a concentrated mind.
We hear of stories about people who are able to move objects through mind power alone.
One of the best known examples is the russian Nina Kulagina who demonstrated this ability in scientific tests [9].
Esoteric teachings tell us that thoughts are real things - energetic vibrations that can interact with the surroundings.
Perhaps thoughts are 4 dimensional (or higher) vibrations which would explain why our instruments cannot normally detect them.
However a focused thought if it were a 4D vibration would cause a shift in the 4D nodes and therefore could give rise to forces that move objects.

The other way that an aether flow could cause a reduction in weight is by reducing the resistive forces that an atom feels when jumping nodes.
As discussed in the Gravity page the gravitational force according to our model results from the atoms jumping from one low aether vibration node to another, brought about by the nodal drift near a planetary body.
One would expect that the resistive force is determined by some form of interaction of the atoms with the surrounding aether.
It is therefore reasonable to expect that a moving aether, in particular a vortex, would change in some way the atom-aether interaction responsible for the gravitational force.
Furthermore, in our model the gravitational force and inertial resistance (see Inertia) are caused by the same mechanism of node jumping.
Therefore this model predicts that if this mechanism is involved in weight reduction one would also experience a reduction in the inertial force, or inertial mass, of the object.
There is evidence of this happening with the Marcus Hollingshead device. It consists of orthogonal spinning toroidal coils constructed from bifilar windings [10].
When the unit is in operation it not only causes weight reduction but loss of inertial resistance.

Antigravity and High Voltage


It has been shown by several experiments that high voltages, usually over 100kV, can create unusual gravitational and inertial effects.
Many unusual effects have been observed with the Townsend Brown 'gravitor' experiments [6].
One example of this was that the unit, a kind of electrified pendulum, motion was found to depend on the position of the major planets!
The Hutchison effect [8] involves high DC voltages together with oscillating electromagnetic fields.

From an aether model perspective we can perhaps begin to understand some of what is going on by resorting to the concept of charge being a 4D aether vortex.
A high voltage plate for example would contain many little vortices whose combined effect would be to produce a macroscopic region of aether flow into the 4th dimension.
Although a little different to the rotational and magnetic aether vortices discussed previously one would expect that this aether flow would also create a shift in the 4D wave patterns that are responsible for gravity. One would therefore expect high voltages to influence the gravitational force.
In the Hutchison effect an oscillating electromagnetic field seems to be an important component of this process.
One would imagine that the RF fields create, through some sort of resonance effect, a significant change in the electron orbitals of the substances it affects. That such a strong effect is possible is attested to by the fact that this process is able to cold melt metals [11].
We therefore theorize that this internal change also affects the aether resistance to atomic node jumping, as discussed in the previous section, thereby reducing the force of gravity.
This combined with the high voltage producing the desired effect.

One consequence of this argument is that if we were to apply strong electromagnetic fields of the correct frequency, or combination of frequencies, to an object we should be able to produce a weight reduction even without the DC voltages.
Alternatively, a combination of a strong static magnetic field and alternating electrostatic fields could achieve similar results.
There is a lot of scope here for further investigation.

Bobbin electromagnetic field propulsion vehicle

 

Özet
This invention relates to a spacecraft which generates its own magnetic moment and magnetic field gradient in order to produce lift on the hull. The magnetic moment is generated by a large area solenoid located in the hull. A toroidal core wrapped with electrical bobbins at intervals along said core produces a traveling magnetic wave along its surface. This magnetic wave creates a spacetime curvature, similar to a tilted plate, which causes the formation of a magnetic field gradient. Power is not critical because the system uses a magnetic vortex wormhole generator to lower the speed of light in order to efficiently create highly relativistic fields due to Lorentz transformation.

 

What I claim as my invention is:
1. A spacecraft that generates a magnetic moment and a magnetic field gradient in the vertical direction in order to create a lift force on the hull.
2. A toroidal core wrapped with electrical bobbins at intervals around the core whose purpose is to create and amplify a magnetic wave that travels along the surface of the core.
3. A circular, direct-current carrying solenoid, located radially inside the toroidal core, to create the magnetic moment.
4. Said magnetic surface wave creates a spacetime curvature, similar to a tilted plate, which produces a magnetic field gradient in the vertical direction.
5. A circular hull, with interior cabin, electrical power supply to drive the coils, and a computer to calculate and sequence the activation of the electrical bobbins.
6. Magnetic sensors, in the form of small coils, located on the toroidal core which can detect the velocity and position of the traveling magnetic wave as feedback to the computer control system.
7. A magnetic vortex generator, either rotating magnet or dual coil, to produce a wormhole through which low linear mass and low speed of light hyperspace energy can enter the hull in order to create highly relativistic electromagnetic fields.
8. A variable current generator to modulate the direct current in the coil so as to produce a variable magnetic moment that can control lift, hover and descent.
9. An electrical power supply using mechanical flywheel stored energy together with a large area capacitor, resupplied with energy by solar cells located on the outer surface of the hull.

    BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

  • This invention, which is the subject of my present application, is comprised of a toroidal core around which are wound a plurality of electromagnetic bobbins. The bobbins are pulsed electrically to create an amplified magnetic wave that travels around the core. At the same time, a circular electrical conductor carrying direct current creates a magnetic field around its area which results in the formation of a magnetic moment. This magnetic moment, together with the spacetime curvature distortion created by the traveling magnetic wave, produces a lift force on the vehicle.

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

  • The idea for this invention comes from experiments I have done using thin transformer laminations wound in intervals with bobbins of wire connected to a frequency generator. Pulsing the bobbins electrically creates a slow traveling magnetic wave along the surface of the lamination. The velocity of the wave, as shown by Hammond in the reference paper, is the square root of the frequency divided by the conductivity and permeability of the material. From Einstein's General Theory of Relativity, this type of wave around the circumference creates a spacetime curvature distortion in the vertical direction that looks like a tilted plate. The magnetic field traveling around the circumference has to follow this curvature. This creates a magnetic gradient in the z-direction which together with the magnetic moment developed by a solenoid produces lift on the vehicle.

    SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

  • It is the object of this invention to create a magnetic field gradient and magnetic moment in order to produce a lift force on the hull of a vehicle. The magnetic field gradient is produced by a traveling magnetic wave which produces a tilting-plate spacetime curvature around the hull. The magnetic moment is created by a simple circular wire carrying direct current around its area.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

  • 1. Referring to the equation in FIG. 1, the lift force on the bobbin spacecraft is equal to its magnetic moment times its magnetic field gradient. The magnetic moment has units of electrical current, measured in amps, times the area enclosed by the current. Thus the units of the magnetic moment are amp−m2. The magnetic moment can be created by a large, circular coil of wire carrying direct current I as shown in FIG. 2. The spacetime cylindrical coordinates {t, r, θ, z} are shown to the right of the drawing where t is time, r the radius, the horizontal angle θ, and the vertical height z.
  • 2. The wire coil solenoid also produces a magnetic field in the vertical z-direction equal to the permeability of space μ times the number of turns per unit length of the solenoid n, times the current I in the winding. The equation is shown in FIG. 3 which can be developed from Ampere's law that the magnetic field around a loop is equal to the current passing through the loop.
  • 3. Referring to FIG. 4, the bobbin spacecraft consists of a large, horizontal, highpermeability toroidal core (D) wrapped at intervals with electrical bobbins (B) which can be pulsed electrically to create a traveling magnetic wave around the core. Interior to this core is a large direct current solenoid (C) which produces said magnetic field in the z-direction. These devices are enclosed in a circular hull (A) containing the coils on the outer rim and a cabin area in the center.
  • 4. Referring to FIG. 5, the velocity of the magnetic wave on the surface of the core is equal to the square root of the wave frequency ω divided by the conductivity a times the permeability μ of the core material. When the first bobbin is pulsed, a wave starts to propagate along the surface of the core. As the wave passes the second bobbin in sequence, another electrical pulse is generated to amplify the wave. After many cycles, the wave traveling around the core becomes larger and larger in amplitude.
  • 5. A traveling wave has a wave function equal to a sinusoidal function with an argument of the angle θ around the periphery less the time t, or Sin[θ−ωt].
  • 6. In gravitational physics, there is a g metric tensor which is a measure of length in spacetime coordinates. When mass or electromagnetic fields are involved in a certain region of space, a curvature of space is created. The curvature of space can then be calculated directly from this metric tensor. The result is Einstein's G curvature tensor which shows the spacetime distortion. The g metric tensor is a 4 by 4 matrix having rows and columns equal to time t, radius r, angle theta, and vertical height z. The diagonal from top left to bottom right has a signature equal to {−1, 1, r2, 1}.
  • 7. Because the magnetic wave traveling around the core is varying with time t in the theta direction, the wave function has to go into the {t,θ} and {θ,t} slots of the metric tensor, as shown in FIG. 6.
  • 8. From this metric tensor, Einstein's G curvature tensor is calculated using a general relativity software program. The spacetime curvature in the vertical z-direction is contained in the Gzz component. A 3D plot of this curvature with respect to radius and theta is shown in FIG. 7. The axis on the right side is the angle around the periphery, and the axis on the left is the radius which goes from 0 to 20 meters. The vertical axis of the graph is the spacetime curvature in the vertical z-direction. The center of the vertical axis is zero. At a small radius, there is a sinusoidal curvature which is positive from 0 to π and which is negative from π to 2π. What this looks like is a tilted plate as depicted in FIG. 8.
  • 9. In flat spacetime with no electromagnetic fields or mass, the curvature would be the horizontal plate as seen FIG. 8. Due to the traveling magnetic wave, the spacetime curvature looks like the tilted plate. The flat-space magnetic field was pointing up in the vertical direction, having no divergence and no gradient. In curved spacetime, however, the magnetic field becomes tilted just like the plate and a magnetic gradient dBz/dz is created. This spacetime curvature gradient of the magnetic field times the magnetic moment of the second coil produces a lift force on the hull which is anchored to these coils.
